METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A CLOSURE FOR A PRODUCT-RETAINING CONTAINER

A method for manufacturing a closure constructed to be inserted and securely retained in a neck of a product-retaining container includes intimately combining a plurality of coated particles (each comprising a cork material core and a first plastic material) with a second plastic material, and other optional constituents; heating the composition to form a melt; extruding or molding a closure precursor from the melt; and optionally cutting and/or finishing the closure precursor. A composition for use in manufacturing a closure includes a plurality of coated particles (each comprising a cork material core and a first plastic material) with a second plastic material, and one or more blowing agents. Methods for producing particulate material, cork composite material, and additional method for producing closures are also provided.

CLOSING SYSTEM FOR BOTTLES AND SMALL BOTTLES AND METHOD FOR THE USE THEREOF FOR THE OPENING OF SAID BOTTLES
20170361995 · 2017-12-21 ·

Closing system for bottles and small bottles and method for the use thereof for the opening of said bottles integrated by a single piece with three differentiated parts, two of them, inner threaded hole and screw (7), made of rigid material and joined by a pre-cut line, used as a base on which an elastic part (10) is overpressed. This elastic part (10) has some perimeter grooves (18) that, when fastening the screw (11) in the inner threaded hole (4) of the neck (3), presses the elastic part (10) and secures it against the walls of the bottleneck (3). The bottle can be opened by just lifting the covering half fins (9) and turning them in the opposite direction to the thread, so the elastic part (10) is decompressed and can be easily removed, leaving the bottle opened. All materials are food grade materials.

A system for capping a mouth of a container may include: a press-on cap for irreversibly capping the mouth of the container, wherein the press-on cap is made of polymeric material able to withstand high-temperature sterilization and wherein the press-on cap may include: a tubular sleeve extending along an axis of extension and configured to be irreversibly locked to the mouth of the container; a rim that radially projects out of the tubular sleeve at an end of the press-on cap; a capping wall oriented transverse to the tubular sleeve and extending from the rim over a front surface delimited by the rim, wherein the front surface faces outwardly; and a plurality of protrusions, which extend out of the front surface. The front surface may have a height variation relative to the rim across the front surface ranging from −1% to 1% of a characteristic dimension of the capping wall.

Assembly of an inliner and a tank container

The invention relates to an assembly (10) of a tank container (20), an inliner (40) and a connection unit (60) for the transport and/or storage of a liquid. The inliner is present in the tank container and the outlet of the inliner is connected to the drain hole (25) of the tank container. A connection unit is present that secures the connection of both outlets and at the same time provides a liquid tight and an air tight connection with an external unit for the delivery or discharge of the liquid contents.

Stopper intended for bottling still wines, characterized in that it includes

cork strips laterally joined by a polyurethane binder so as to form a plurality of cork strips, the cork strips being disposed such that the thickness thereof is perpendicular to the axis of the stopper,
at least one lateral cork strip joined by a polyurethane binder to each face of the plurality of cork strips revealing all cork strips,
the lenticels possibly present in the cork strips extending parallel to the thickness of the strips while those in the lateral cork strips extend perpendicular to the thickness of the strips, such that all lenticels of the stopper are disposed perpendicular to the axis of the stopper in order to limit the variation in oxygen permeability from one stopper to the other
