LIDDED CONTAINER
In a container having a lid member coupled to a container body by a hinge, the lid member includes a top surface, an inner ring formed on the top surface, and a projected part is formed on the top surface concentrically with the inner ring and which has an outer peripheral surface provided with an outer peripheral surface projection along the circumferential direction. The container body has a sidewall with a first inner peripheral surface having an inner peripheral surface projection formed along the circumferential direction, and a second inner peripheral surface having an inner diameter different from that of the first inner peripheral surface. When the lid member is closed, the inner ring seals the container body by being fitted to the second inner peripheral surface. The outer peripheral surface projection contacts and slides over the inner peripheral surface projection to lock the lid member the container body.
VIAL WITH NON-ROUND SEAL
A moisture-tight, re-sealable container is disclosed having a lid and body. The lid and body have a non-round seal that is substantially moisture tight when the lid is seated on the body, admitting less than 1000 micrograms per day of water to a package. A reinforcement stiffens or reinforces at least a portion of the seal against inward deflection along an axis defined by the minor diameter when the lid is seated on the body. Optionally the reinforcement is at least one spline subdividing the reservoir. A method of making dispensers for objects of varying length to customize particular dispensers to dispense such objects of a particular length is also disclosed.
LIDDED CONTAINER
In a container having a lid member coupled to a container body by a hinge, the lid member has a top panel, and an inner ring formed on the top panel, the inner ring being fitted to an inner peripheral surface of a sidewall of the container body in a closed state to seal the container body. The inner ring has an outer peripheral surface on which an outer peripheral surface projection is formed along a circumferential direction, and the container body has an inner peripheral surface on which an inner peripheral surface projection is formed along the circumferential direction, in the vicinity of an end portion of the sidewall. When closing the lid member, the outer peripheral surface projection contacts and slides over the inner peripheral surface projection to cause the lid member to be locked to the container body, with the inner ring sealing the container body.
JAR ASSEMBLY
The present disclosure is related to jars and containers and, more particularly, to the manufacture of readily recyclable jars and containers.
An exemplary jar is comprised of an aluminum base and a first aluminum inner cup provided with a first cavity defined with the aluminum base. An outer thread is provided about an exterior surface of the aluminum base, and an aluminum lid with a second aluminum inner cup is provided within a second cavity defined within the aluminum lid. An inner thread mateable with the outer thread is provided about an interior surface of the second aluminum inner cup.
A method of manufacturing readily recyclable jars can comprise providing a primary metal material and optionally applying a precoating to the primary metal material. The primary metal material may be formed into a jar with mating threads and a lid with mating threads. The primary metal material may optionally be finished. A liner may optionally be inserted. The lid and jar are then assembled, and a plastic cup may optionally be installed.
Lid for a container
A lid for a container, such as a beverage cup, is provided. The lid includes a top wall for covering an opening of the container. The top wall may include an inner layer and an outer layer. The inner layer may include a first perforation line defining an openable sip hole area. The outer layer may be connected to the inner layer at the openable sip hole area. The outer layer may include a tearing off area that may be torn off and result in the opening of the first perforation line to create a sip hole in the inner layer.
NESTABLE BOTTLE
Described herein is an improved bottle and lid design that eliminates the need for lids on bottles that require unscrewing, snapping, or other exertion to remove and/or replace the lid.
STORAGE CONTAINER WITH HINGED LID
A plastic container comprises a container body having an opening to an interior of the container body; and a lid constructed and arranged for removably coupling to the container body, the lid comprising: a base portion covering a first region of the opening of the container body; a movable portion covering a second region of the opening of the container body in a closed position and exposing the opening to the interior of the container body in an open position; and a hinge arrangement between the base portion and the movable portion, wherein the movable portion is constructed and arranged to rotate about an axis along which the hinge arrangement extends, and relative to the base portion, wherein the base portion and the movable portion each extends at a predetermined height above the opening of the container body to increase a volume of an interior of the container to be greater than the interior of the container body.
EXPANDABLE PACKAGING
An expandable bowl has an open top and a plurality of configuration changing side members connecting the open top to a base member. The configuration changing side members are designed to allow a user to pull the base member to changing the side members from a collapsed configuration to an expanded configuration, thereby increasing the overall volume of the bowl. The expandable bowl may be useful for various products, such as pre-packaged salads, where the salads may be packaged and displayed in the collapsed configuration, thereby minimizing shelf space, and may be changed to the expanded configuration by a user to permit tossing of the salad without risking spillage of the contents of the bowl.
Container and lid
A container lid is provided herein having structurally reinforcing ribs therein. The ribs increase the strength of the lid across a central region thereof. Specifically, the lid can have an outer perimeter and the ribs can be spaced inwardly from the outer perimeter. The inwardly spaced ribs can provide a distinct look for consumer differentiation. Additionally, the ribs can be arcuate so that they generally follow a curvature of the outer perimeter of the lid. As such, a label region within the lid central region is preserved, while the lid is still strengthened by the ribs.
Packaging container having a secure closure and retention elements
A thermoformed packaging container includes a base section having a bottom surface, first and second inner and outer base side walls, and first and second inner and outer base end walls forming a chamber, with at least one outer base one side wall having a plurality of base indentations and protrusions formed therein. A cover section having a top surface, first and second cover side walls, and first and second cover end walls, the cover section adapted to cover the base section when in a closed state, with at least one of the cover side walls having a plurality of cover indentations and protrusions formed therein for engaging with the plurality of base indentations and protrusions. The container also includes a closure mechanism for securing the container in a closed position, wherein the closure mechanism is formed within at least one end wall of the base section and a corresponding end wall of the cover section.
