Dispensing lid
A dispensing lid includes a port through the lid, a slider in sliding engagement with the lid, and a detent on the slider. The slider is selectively movable between a closed position that closes the port, an open position that opens the port, and removal from the lid. The detent includes a wall extending from the slider, a lever attached to the slider at a pivot, a pawl extending from the lever, and a catch extending from the pawl. The lever is in an orientation opposing the wall with a gap between the lever and the wall. The catch engages a first stop in the lid when the slider is in the closed position with the lever released, engages a second stop in the lid when the slider is in the open position with the lever released, and does not engage the lid when the slider is removed.
DRINK CUP LID
A drink cup lid includes a ring-shaped brim mount adapted to mate with a brim of a drink cup and a central closure surrounded by the ring-shaped brim mount and including an annular top wall formed to include a top aperture and an adjacent liquid-discharge outlet. The drink cup lid further includes an outlet closure configured to close the liquid-discharge outlet.
Lid assembly operable with one press action mechanism and container comprising the same
The present invention provides a lid assembly for use in a beverage container, having a cap, a seal assembly configured to sealably close at least one drink orifice, and an actuator assembly. The actuator assembly is in operative connection with the cap and the seal assembly, and configured to synchronously actuate the cap to rotate and actuate the seal assembly to displace longitudinally, so as to open the drink orifice for dispensing and close the drink orifice via a single press action. The invention also relates to a beverage container comprising such a lid assembly.
Dispensing Device And Assembly For Packaging And Dispensing Product
The device includes a dispensing end; an attachment end; and a dispensing valve provided between the attachment end and the dispensing end and formed by a flexible member and a rigid member. The dispensing valve is actuatable between an open position in which a dispensing channel is formed between the flexible member and the rigid member, and a closed position in which the dispensing channel is closed. The dispensing valve includes a first valve portion and a second valve portion. The second valve portion is located closer to the dispensing end than the first valve portion. The dispensing valve is configured such that a greater biasing force is applied onto the rigid member by the flexible member in the first valve portion than in the second valve portion when the dispensing valve is in the closed position.
A PACKAGE CLOSURE AND A METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PACKAGE CLOSURE
A package closure (10) comprising a neck (12), a cap (11) for closing an opening of the neck (12), and a folded portion (21) connecting the neck (12) and the cap (11), wherein the neck (12) has an axis (A) and is formed with a tubular portion (16) and an inward projecting sealing flange (18), wherein the cap (12) is formed with a top portion (13) for covering the opening of the neck, and an axially extending sealing ring (19) to interact with the sealing flange (18) to form a seal between them. The neck (12), the cap (11) and the folded portion (21) are formed in a single integrated piece. The cap (11) is further formed with an axially extending wall (14) arranged radially outside of the tubular portion (16) of the neck (12), wherein the folded portion (21) connects the wall (14) of the cap (11) with the neck (12). The top portion (13) of the cap (11) is connected to the wall (14) through a breakable notch (23) and a hinge (24), wherein the top portion (13) is openable by tearing along the notch (23) and folding along the hinge (24). Disclosed is also a method for producing the package closure (10).
CLOSURE FOR A PACKAGE
A package includes a container and a closure coupled to the container to control release of product therefrom. The closure includes a closure cap coupled to the container and a flip-top cap coupled to the closure cap and configured to pivot relative to the closure cap between a closed position and an opened position.
SELF-SEALING CONTAINER CLOSURE
A sealing closure for dispensing fluid includes a closure body. The closure body has an attachment portion configured to attach to a container containing fluid, a dispensing portion, and a conduit connecting the attachment portion and dispensing portion and configured to direct fluid from the attachment portion to the dispensing portion. The sealing closure further includes a spring lid attached to the dispensing portion. The spring lid has a first portion coupled to the closure body, a second portion not attached to the closure body. The second portion is configured to contact the closure body when a pressure of the fluid is below a threshold, and flex to separate from the closure body when the pressure of the fluid meets or exceeds the threshold to create an opening for dispensing the fluid.
Top closure assembly and drinking bottles including the same
A reusable drinking bottle having an improved, easily cleanable, closure adapted with a drinking spout. A closure body is adapted for mating engagement in covering relation with the open top formed in a drinking bottle. A valve insert places the interior volume of the drinking bottle in fluid communication with the exterior. An actuator is removably connected to the valve insert to allow for user actuated rotation thereof between closed and open configurations. A normally closed resilient self-sealing valve allows liquid to flow from the drinking bottle through the valve insert when configured to the open configuration. The valve insert is retained by a retaining cap in threaded engagement with the valve insert on the exterior of the base. The closure of the present invention contains only a small number of components and may be easily disassembled by the user to allow for cleaning.
LIQUID DISPENSING CONTAINER
Embodiments of the present invention include a liquid dispensing container and lid with a straw releasably attachable below the lid, the container with a first configuration allowing a user to sip liquid from the container at a first location when the straw is attached to the lid, and a second configuration that allows a user to pour liquid from the container, at the same first location, when the straw is not attached to the lid.
Dispenser
In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful to dispensers. In some embodiments, a dispenser comprises a main body assembly including an outer wall and an inner wall, the inner wall defining an aperture through the main body, a seal, wherein the seal is affixed to the main body and encloses a lower portion of the aperture, a button seated within the aperture and configured to be manipulable between a first position and a second position, and a container housed within the button and configured to store a material, wherein when the button is in the second position the container contacts the seal to allow the material to exit the dispenser.
