Adjustable tightening apparatus
A tie to secure items therewithin that can be loosened or released to allow the items to be removed therefrom and the tie to be reused. The tie includes an elongated strap having teeth formed thereon that engage with teeth in a locking head to allow movement in only one direction (tightening). A release pad in conjunction with a backplate enables the teeth in the locking head to be disengaged from the teeth on the elongated strap when the release pad is depressed so that the strap can move in an opposite direction (removal). The release pad and the backplate are configured to face away from the items secured within the strap to provide more room for engagement (e.g., by a user's hand) and provide necessary leverage to release the cable tie without need to press the tie against other items (e.g., cables, chassis).
Pawl-Latching Devices
Techniques and apparatuses directed to improved pawl-latching devices are described in this document. The disclosed techniques and apparatuses provide pawl-latching devices with pawls structured to avoid the sinking and warping problems present in some conventional injection molding processes. In aspects, the pawl-latching devices include a pawl having at least one of a pivot member including a notch, a release feature on the pawl spaced apart from the front and sides of the pawl, a recess defined in the top of the pawl, and/or a recess defined in the bottom of the pawl.
Systems And Methods For Securing Cords
An assembly for securing a cord in a selected compact configuration. The assembly can include a first attachment apparatus configured to connect to the cord. An elongate body can extend from the first attachment apparatus. The elongate body can be configured to be positioned to extend at least partially around the cord to at least partially secure the cord in the selected compact configuration. A second attachment apparatus can be positioned along at least a portion of the elongate body. The second attachment apparatus can be configured to connect to the first attachment apparatus to at least partially secure the elongate body at least partially about the cord in the selected compact configuration.
CABLE TIE
A cable tie having a tie body that is provided with slots which are arranged along an extension thereof that is used for tightening. The slots are arranged transversely with respect to the extension. The body has an elongated shape with a plate element at one end and a traction ring at the other end.
Cable tie
There is disclosed a releasable cable tie having an elongated flexible strap provided with a plurality of strap teeth and with a locking head disposed at one end of the strap. The locking head defines a passage therethrough wherein there is located a resiliently movable pawl being configured to engage with the strap teeth when the strap is inserted through the passage. The locking head has a first leg joined to the strap and a second leg being pivotally movably joined to the first leg at a hinge. The locking head can be selectively disposed between an open position and a closed position. In its closed position the second leg butts against the first leg to define the passage, whereas in its open position the second leg is spaced away from the first leg to provide a side opening into the passage.
Strap system for securing a payload
The present invention discloses a strap system for securing a payload. The strap system includes a first fastener having a connecting crosspiece, a reversing crosspiece, and a hanger capable of attaching to the payload, and all connected together on each side by lateral members. The strap system also includes a strap attached to the connecting crosspiece of the first fastener and capable of passing around the reversing crosspiece and tightening the strap around the payload.
STRAP SYSTEM FOR SECURING A PAYLOAD
The present invention discloses a strap system for securing a payload. The strap system includes a first fastener having a connecting crosspiece, a reversing crosspiece, and a hanger capable of attaching to the payload. The strap system also includes a strap attached to the connecting crosspiece of the first fastener and capable of passing around the reversing crosspiece and tightening the strap around the payload.
REBAR COVER
A rebar cover includes a shaft having a first end and a bottom end with a central bore therethrough. A bar tie is extended into the central bore through one or more openings in a sidewall of the shaft. When inserted into the central bore, a looped portion of the bar tie may loop around the rebar. The bar tie includes a ratcheting mechanism to secure the rebar to the rebar cover. The ratcheting mechanism includes a release lever to place the ratcheting mechanism in an open position, thereby allowing the bar tie to be loosened and the rebar cover removed from the rebar.
Releasable bundling tie
Improved releasable bundling ties having unique releasable locks are provided. In various embodiments, the releasable locks have a two-way operation, wherein a bundling tie can be fastened or locked in either one or both of two directions.
