SHIPPING UNIT LOAD WITH INCREASED STABILITY AND/OR SHIPPING EFFICIENCY
Cargo assemblages including a pallet, a load of packages arranged in one or more layers, and a support layer, in which the support layer is sized and positioned within the cargo assemblage to support and/or stabilize the cargo, thereby providing improved pallet efficiency, improved shipping efficiency, and/or improved stability.
VENTED PACKAGING ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD
A method for packaging masonry products, comprising stacking the masonry product. Wrapping the masonry product with a packaging film from a first position to a second position below a top of the product. Placing a top sheet on the top of the masonry product, the top sheet forming at least one vent assembly. Wrapping the masonry product and the top sheet with the packaging film below the vent assembly.
Method for securing packing units, and fixing holder for use in the method
Method for securing packing units 20 on a transport vehicle 21, the packing units comprising a base 22 and at least two upright joined round containers 2a, 2b, the method comprising the steps of: providing a first fixing holder 1′ on the upright circumferential edges 5 of two upright joined containers 2a, 2b of a first packing unit 20′, providing a second fixing holder 1′ on two upright circumferential edges of two upright joined containers 2a, 2b of the first packaging unit 20′ or of a second packaging unit 20″, arranging a tying strap or tensioning cable 8 over the fixing holders 1′, 1″, securing the first packing unit 20′ with the tying strap or tensioning cable 8 on the transport vehicle 21.
Method for Packaging a Pack Commodity, and Package for a Pack Commodity
A method for packaging a pack commodity comprises: providing a support element having an upper side, a lower side and side surfaces; placing a first packaging material sheet on the upper side; arranging the pack commodity on the first packaging material sheet such that a portion of the first packaging material sheet lies between the support element and the pack commodity and that with parts of the first packaging material sheet protruding beyond the pack commodity; placing a second packaging material sheet on an upper side of the pack commodity such that parts of the second packaging material sheet protrude beyond the pack commodity; folding the protruding parts so that they overlap along an overlapping portion on the side surfaces of the support element; applying a peripheral angular contact-pressure device laterally to the overlapping portion and to the upper side of the second packaging material sheet; and bracing the angular contact-pressure device by applying tension straps to generate a contact pressure in the overlapping portion.
Sliced food product package
A food product package for containing a shingled stack of food product slices is provided including a package bottom and a non-planar periphery, the package bottom having walls oriented to be substantially the same geometry as the shingled stack of food product slices.
Structural elements and assemblies for construction material packaging
Disclosed is stack support assembly. The stack support assembly includes at least one binding element to press and bind at least one support leg to a material stack; and at least one elongated and partially hollow support leg composed of a shaped polymer. The elongated and partially hollow support leg includes vertically oriented side walls connected to one another with a repeating pattern of interconnect structures, thereby forming hollowed channels extending between a top plane and a bottom plane of the support leg.
Rolled paper product cargo assemblages and method for making rolled paper product cargo assemblages
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to cargo assemblages that may include containers of rolled products stacked on pallets secured thereto with film and methods of producing such cargo assemblages. The load may include containers of absorbent paper product arranged in stacked layers from a bottom layer of containers to a top layer of containers. A film may be applied to connect the load with the pallet and to connect neighboring stacked layers together. The film may be wrapped around the pallet and/or layers of containers with a wrap profile having different characteristics, such as for example, containment forces; tensions; numbers of layers, and/or locations of layers with respect to the load, the pallet, and/or each other.
Sliced Food Product Package
A package for containing a shingled stack of food product slices.
Container Storage System for Flexible Containers
The present disclosure provides a container storage system including base tray with a flat platform having a polygonal shape and an array of spaced-apart holes, the flat platform defining a perimeter edge. The base tray also includes a substrate beneath the flat platform. The substrate defines a peripheral edge and a sidewall extends upward from the peripheral edge. A plurality of flexible containers are on the flat platform. Each flexible container has four panels, the four panels forming a body portion, a neck portion with a closure, and a tapered transition portion between the body portion and the neck portion. Each flexible container is inverted such that the neck portion extends downward through a respective hole and the tapered transition portion contacts the flat platform to support the inverted flexible container. One panel of at least one inverted flexible container contacts a panel of another inverted flexible container.
Stretch wrapping machine supporting top layer containment operations
A method, apparatus and program product implement top layer containment operations to optimize containment of various types of loads such as loads with top/slip sheets, ragged topographies, and/or inboard portions. Bidirectional control of the elevation of a web of packaging material may be performed within one or more revolutions between a load and a packaging material dispenser to selectively engage one or more corners of the load with a web of packaging material while passing the web of packaging material inwardly of one or more other corners of the load.
