The present disclosure relates to a carrier apparatus primarily for carrying containers having food products therein; but secondarily for carrying containers having any type of products contained therein. Specifically, the carrier apparatus of the present invention allows a user to transport various amounts and types of containers securely, minimizing disturbance to products, such as food products, contained therein. More specifically, the carrier apparatus of the present invention comprises a first configuration for carrying a first amount of containers and a second configuration for carrying a second amount of containers.

Aspects of the disclosure relate to a package, an article carrier, and a blank (810) for forming the article carrier. An aspect of the invention provides an article carrier comprising a plurality of primary panels (812,814,816) at least partially extending around an interior of the article carrier. The plurality of primary panels comprises a first side panel (812), a top panel (814), a second side pane (816)1 and at least one bottom paneljoined together to form a tubular structure having first and second opposed open ends. The article carrier comprises a carrying handle (H) including a handle feature defined in at least the top panel and a foldable handle structure (HS) having opposed connecting panels and a handle strap. The handle strap extends (882) between the connecting panels.

A carton for holding a plurality of containers includes a plurality of panels extending at least partially around an interior of the carton, the plurality of panels including a top panel, a bottom panel, and at least one side panel, and a plurality of end flaps foldably connected to a respective panel of the plurality of panels and forming at least one closed end of the carton, the plurality of end flaps including at least one top end flap, at least one bottom end flap, and at least one side end flap. The carton includes attachment features for attaching the carton to at least one other carton, the attachment features including at least one attachment flap removably connected to an end flap of the plurality of end flaps for attaching the carton to a portion of the at least one other carton.

Aspects of the disclosure relate to a package, a carrier (90) for packaging one or more articles (B, B1, B2) and a blank (10; 110; 210; 310A, 310B) for forming the carrier. The package comprises an article carrier and one or more articles. The carrier comprises a main panel (14) having at least two article retention structures for receiving and securing the main panel to a respective article. Each of the at least two article retention structures comprises a center. The center C of the at least two article retention structures is spaced apart from the center of an adjacent one of the at least two article retention structures by a distance. The distance is greater than the maximum diameter of each of the at least two articles.

A container (100, 300) configured to carry a plurality of articles includes a body (101, 301) configured to form an interior space (105, 305). The body (101, 301) includes at least a side wall (107, 307) and a bottom (109, 309). A clip type carrier for packaging articles of the type having a rim, bead, chime, undercut, waist or the like. The carrier comprises a first layer having a plurality of generally circular apertures and a second layer having a plurality of respective locking apertures. The locking apertures are provided with a plurality of locking tabs for engaging under an article rim in use. An aggregate effective aperture diameter, being approximately the generally circular aperture minus twice the thickness of the locking tabs, is greater than the diameter of the container rim, causing formation of a reinforcing rim at the periphery of the generally circular aperture once applied.
