A carton for holding a plurality of containers includes a plurality of panels extending at least partially around an interior of the carton, the plurality of panels including a top panel, a bottom panel, and at least one side panel, and a plurality of end flaps foldably connected to a respective panel of the plurality of panels and forming at least one closed end of the carton, the plurality of end flaps including at least one top end flap, at least one bottom end flap, and at least one side end flap. The carton includes attachment features for attaching the carton to at least one other carton, the attachment features including at least one attachment flap removably connected to an end flap of the plurality of end flaps for attaching the carton to a portion of the at least one other carton.

A convertible carrier includes first and second carrier units (101A, 101B). The first carrier unit includes a first side panel (114A) and a first medial panel (110A) disposed opposed to the first side panel. The second carrier unit includes a second side panel (114B) and a second medial panel (110B) disposed opposed to the second side panel. The first and second medial panels are in a face-contacting arrangement to form a medial wall disposed between the first and second side panels. The first and second medial panels are retained in the face-contacting arrangement by at least one hinged connection (149, 161) between the first and second medial panels and by at least one removable joint. The removable joint is formed in part from part (162A) of the first medial panel and in part (162B) from part of the second medial panel.

A carton for holding a plurality of containers includes a plurality of panels extending at least partially around an interior of the carton, the plurality of panels including a top panel, a bottom panel, and at least one side panel, and a plurality of end flaps foldably connected to a respective panel of the plurality of panels and forming at least one closed end of the carton, the plurality of end flaps including at least one top end flap, at least one bottom end flap, and at least one side end flap. A composite packaging foil for a childproof and/or senior friendly packaging, including a first layer having a first outer surface and a first inner surface, wherein the first layer imparts tear-inhibiting properties to the packaging foil, a second layer having a second outer surface and a second inner surface, wherein the second outer surface of the second layer is sealable against a mating surface, an inner layer arranged between the first inner surface of the first layer and the second inner surface of the second layer. The packaging foil has at least one weakening zone in which the tear-inhibiting properties of the packaging foil are reduced by a plurality of perforations that are present in the first layer. The density of perforations in the weakening zone lies between 50 and 250, preferably between 50 and 150 and particularly preferred between 70 and 130 perforations per cm.sup.2.

A carton for holding a plurality of containers, the carton includes a top retainer having a top panel and at least one top end flap foldably connected to the top panel. The top panel includes at least one retaining portion having at least one receptacle for retaining at least one container of the plurality of containers, and the at least one retaining portion is removable from the carton. The carton further includes a tray having a bottom panel and at least one bottom end flap foldably connected to the bottom panel. The at least one top end flap and the at least one bottom end flap cooperate to form a closed end of the carton.

A carton for holding a plurality of articles in at least a first layer and a second layer. The carton can include a plurality of panels extending at least partially around an interior of the carton. The plurality of panels can include at least a bottom panel, a side panel, and a top panel. The carton further can include a divider for at least partially extending between the first layer and the second layer of the plurality of articles. The divider can at least partially define a first modular section of the carton and a second modular section of the carton. The first modular section can include the top panel, an upper portion of the side panel, and the divider. The second modular section can include the bottom panel and a lower portion of the side panel. The first modular section can be at least partially separable from the second modular section.

The disclosure includes a carton for containers, including a bottom panel with a hinge, a top panel, a front panel, a back panel, and first and second opposed end panels. The disclosure also includes a blank for the carton. The carton is configurable in different storage and dispensing configurations.

Carton blanks and cartons having a tear strip dispensing feature defined thereon are described herein. The tear strip dispensing feature allows a first portion of the carton to be removed from a second portion of the carton. The first portion of the carton includes a carrying handle allowing the first portion to function as a smaller, standalone carton. The second portion of the carton is operative to function as a dispensing tray. Both the first portion and the second portion of the carton may fit into a relatively small space, such as, for example, the space between shelves in a refrigerator.
