A unit-dose packaging for a product comprising a chain of blister packs, the chain of blister packs being arranged in an alternating manner and having foldable regions between each blister pack in the chain of blister packs, characterised in that after use of the product, a chain of emptied blister packs forms a concertina fold, wherein all the blisters are of the same shape in the chain of blister packs such that the repeating units of the chain of blister packs are linked in such a way that their cavities fit into each other when stacking in an alternating way.

Disclosed herein are packagings for cutting blades, multiple packagings connected to each other, methods for using and producing such packagings, and a method for packaging cutting blades in such packagings. One such packaging comprises a substantially flat base and cover layer made of a first and a second packaging material respectively, a blade receptacle between the two layers, and a cover of the blade receptacle formed in the cover layer. The first and second packaging material are made primarily of cardboard. The packaging materials each have a first and a second rigidity in corresponding primary directions, wherein a cutting edge of a blade is disposed in the packaging parallel to at least one of the primary directions. A multiple packaging made of such individual packagings with a separation region between two individual packagings comprises a planned parting line in a layer and a hinge line in the other layer.

A packaging for a product comprising a support having a first side and a second side and a first edge and a second edge, the support defining one or more indents; and a retainer extending from the support and including an engagement surface, the retainer having a first position wherein the engagement surface cooperates with the one or more indents to define a cavity between the retainer and the first side of the support and a second position wherein the engagement surface is withdrawn from the one or more indents, and the retainer is configured to engage the product within the cavity in the first position and disengage the product within the cavity in the second position.

A first packaging material includes at least one layer located in both a first region and a second region. A second packaging material includes at least one layer located in both the first region and the second region. The hole includes a proximate position where the distance between the hole and the outer edge of the pouch in a center-of-gravity direction is shortest, the center-of-gravity direction being a direction in which a center-of-gravity line passing through the center of the pouch and the center of the hole extends. A communication part is connected with the hole at a position that is spaced apart from the proximate position in a direction orthogonal to the center-of-gravity direction. A container for packaging at least one product is provided. The container comprises a front wall defining a first foot region at a lower end thereof, a rear wall, a bottom wall connected to the rear wall, and a second foot region foldably connected to the bottom wall. The front wall, the rear wall, and the bottom wall at least partially define a receptacle therebetween. The at least one product is at least partially received within the receptacle. The first foot region and the second foot region are attached to each other to form a foot that extends downwardly from the bottom wall away from the receptacle, such that upon seating the foot and the bottom wall on an external planar surface, the container is inclined obliquely to the external planar surface.

A novel and advantageous packaging system for card packaging system is provided. The card packaging system can hold a card and a promotional item and can display the serial number of the card while keeping the personal identification number for the card hidden. The card packaging system can be easily hung from a merchandise display. The card packaging system may include a card unit comprising a card, a hanger, and a stem, the stem being positioned between the card and the hanger, wherein the card may be separate from the hanger and the stem. The card packaging system may further comprise a case for receiving the card unit, the case including a slot for receiving the stem such that the card is positioned in the case and the hanger extends outwardly from the case.

A resealable flap device in the form of a sheet, for applying to or incorporating in packaging, comprises: a base layer 30 of flexible material, and an upper layer 40 of stiff material. The sheet is cut (15) through both layers to outline a flap portion 14, the cut leaving an edge in a hinge region 18, the upper layer being removed behind the line of the hinge region 18. In this way the flexible base layer forms a hinge 18 that is easy to handle and does not spring back, while the stiff upper layer maintains the shape of the flap.

A display pack for consumer products, especially toothbrushes. A sheet form plastics material support has a lower edge with plural bubble packs for the product arranged lengthways along the edge, and detachably linked to the support part by a first separable link. Lengthways adjacent bubble packs are integrally detachably connected to each other by one or more second separable link wherein lengthways sequential second links are at different distances from the lower edge of the support in a direction transverse to the lower edge of the support.

A flexible thermoformed dispensing package for a flowable material includes an integrally formed dispensing tube extending from the container portion having an internal extension spaced apart from the side walls defining a recessed chamber defined by a pair of integral thermoformed walls extending from the bottom surface of the container chamber and terminating proximate the base when the package is in a vertical position to facilitate sipping of a beverage from the container portion; alternatively, a straw is placed in the dispensing tube to reach the base of the package. In another embodiment, at least one integrally formed internal dividing wall extends from the sealed end of the dispensing tube and intersects an interior wall to define separate dispensing chambers, where the sealed ends of each of the dispensing chambers can be independently opened along a weakened transverse parting line and separated into separate dispensing channels along a longitudinal parting line.
