Food Products For Multifunction Pressure Cookers
Described herein are food items that are configured to facilitate cooking or heating in multifunction pressure cookers with increased efficiency. In some embodiments, a food item may be frozen, and may be a single, unitary, integral one-piece block or chunk that is heated by itself in the cooker. Also disclosed herein are processes associated with the above-described combination, such as methods of preparing, packaging, and heating of food products. Also disclosed are containers and molds that can be used to form frozen food products with a shape and structure corresponding to inner cavities of heating devices. In some cases, containers or molds can also serve as packaging for one or more of storage, shipping, retail display, sale and consumer handling of frozen food products.
FOOD PREPARATION
Devices and methods for RF heating of food, using techniques which allow uniformity and/or controlled non-uniformity.

PACKAGES WITH VENT SYSTEMS
A package, for example, a freezable microwavable package containing a food product, has a sealing film that includes a vent system that is scored into the package.
Hermetic packages with laser scored vent systems
A hermetically sealed package, for example a freezable microwavable package containing a food product, has a sealing film that includes a vent system that is scored by a laser into the package.
Food preparation
A heating profile of a microwave oven is modified using microwaves at a plurality of frequencies. A power of transmission to a cavity of the microwave oven of microwaves is defined at each of the plurality of frequencies. A duration is defined for which the microwaves are transmitted at each of the plurality of frequencies. For each of the plurality of frequencies, a proportion of power input to the cavity that is not output from the cavity is measured. The measured proportions am used to modify the power of transmission at each frequency, the duration of transmission at each frequency or both.
Package for combined steam and microwave heating of food
A package for combined steam and microwave heating of food, wherein the package may include microwave energy interactive materials (MEIMs) configured for providing rapid, simultaneous microwave and steam cooking in a domestic microwave oven. The MEIMs may be configured for controlling the heating pattern within the package and to control volumetric heating of food in the package. The MEIMs may include one or more of a susceptor, shield, and/or resonating patch antenna. The package may be paper-based, or it may be manufactured of any other suitable material. One or more of the different sections of the package may comprise separate chambers respectively for the steam source and the food to be steamed, so that the steam source and the food to be steamed are separated from one another during manufacturing, storage, and cooking.
PAPERBOARD, PAPERBOARD CONTAINER, AND METHOD FOR USING A PAPERBOARD ARTICLE
A method for using a paperboard article includes heating a paperboard article by way of microwave radiation. The paperboard article includes a paperboard substrate having a first major side and a second major side and one or more high-density polyethylene layers on at least one of the first major side and the second major side of the paperboard substrate.
