VACUUM-BASED RETRIEVING AND DISPENSING
The methods of the present disclosure are generally directed to controlling noise and performance associated with a vacuum system for retrieving and dispensing dispensable units, such as pills. By way of example and not limitation, such methods may be useful for addressing the particular challenges associated with automated dispensing of pills (or other dispensable units) in environments—such as many household or point-of-care environments—that are sensitive to noise and/or in environments in which the retrieval device is generally operated by users without specialized training in maintaining the retrieval device.
TABLET DISPENSER
The present invention relates to a tablet dispenser. The tablet dispenser includes: an accommodation part provided with a plurality of cartridge accommodation compartments into which tablet cartridge assemblies configured to accommodate tablets therein and discharge the tablets and each provided with a discharge unit and a cartridge identification unit are inserted and mounted; a plurality of mounting detection units located in the respective cartridge accommodation compartments, and configured to detect the cartridge identification units of the tablet cartridge assemblies; a plurality of discharge driving units located in the respective cartridge accommodation compartments, and configured to drive the discharge units so that the tablets are discharged from the tablet cartridge assemblies; and a control unit connected to the mounting detection units and the discharge driving units, and configured to obtain information through the mounting detection units and control the discharge driving units.
Child resistant storage container
A child resistant storage container is provided. The child resistant storage container has a housing having a top half, a bottom half and a generally hollow interior storage area. A locking mechanism temporarily secures the top half of the device to the bottom half of the device. The top half has a plurality of opposing teeth that allow the top half to be separated from the bottom half only when the locking teeth of the top half are engaged with each other. The interior of the child resistant storage container may be used to store items such as medications.
CONTAINER LOCKING LID SYSTEM
A system includes a container forming an interior volume configured to store products and a lid assembly configured to secure to the container. The lid assembly includes a lid housing forming an opening. The products are to be dispensed from the interior volume via the opening. The lid assembly further includes a dispensing structure configured to load a portion of the products to be dispensed. The lid assembly further includes a cover structure configured to selectively unblock the opening to allow the portion of the products to be dispensed. The lid assembly further includes a processing device configured to determine that the portion of the products is to be dispensed and cause the cover structure to be actuated to unblock the opening to allow dispensing of the portion of the products.
DRUG DISPENSING DEVICE
The invention relates to a device for dispensing a plurality of drugs, the device comprising: for each drug dose (25) of the plurality of drugs, a drawer (30) configured to accommodate a single dose of any of the drugs of the plurality of drugs; a storage unit comprising cases (40), each case comprising at least one passage for holding drawers and, in each passage, drawers next to one another comprising all of the identical drug doses; a unit (60) for preparing pillboxes (50) that is configured to pull drawers out from the cases of the storage unit and place the pulled-out drawers in a pillbox associated with a patient's identifier, the pillbox comprising a passage for holding the drawers that have been placed therein.
