A portable storage container that is constructed so as to provide a first technique and a second technique to access the interior volume. The portable storage container of the present invention includes a base platform having a housing that is superposed the base platform and operable to be removed therefrom. The base platform includes apertures that are configured to align with mounting pins of the housing. The base platform includes wheel assemblies that are configured to assist in movement of the assembled portable storage container. A pair of lifting members are secured to the top of the housing and are configured to operably engage with forklift tongues so as to provide removal of the housing from the base platform. A door is provided on one end of the housing wherein the door provides an alternate technique to access the interior volume in addition to the lifting of the housing.

A racking protection device that includes a housing and vibration monitor. The vibration monitor is arranged to record the vibration transmitting through a racking component. The housing includes an alert for alerting a user when the racking requires inspection for damage to impacts. The vibration monitor records the frequency and time of each impact. The vibration monitor includes a memory that counts and records the number of minor impacts. The vibration monitor determines a minor impact when the peak frequency is between a minimum and maximum pre-set level for a predetermined time period. When a predeteiiiiined number of minor impacts is exceeded, the alert is arranged to alert the user to inspect the racking for damage. When the frequency exceeds the maximum pre-set level for a predetermined time period the vibration monitor determines that a severe impact has occurred and the alert is arranged to alert the user to inspect the racking for damage.

A transport container for transporting livestock and/or agricultural products is disclosed. The transport container is releasably connected with a box comprising an open connecting side, at which the box is provided with anchor parts. The box contains an inlet opening for supplying fresh air, wherein an air conditioning device is arranged in the box and is connectable to the inlet opening for fresh air supply into the air conditioning device. The open connecting side of the box contains a region, in which an air outlet from the air conditioning device is arranged and is in fluid communication with an intake opening in the container, and a re-entry opening which is for re-entry of air from the container and which is fluidly connectable with intake of the air conditioning device.

Systems and methods are disclosed for managing logistics information related to a container using a container interface display apparatus. A scanner on the container interface display apparatus identifies an item during loading of the container. An association between the container and the item is recorded in memory of the container interface display apparatus as part of managed logistics information related to the container. A scale within the container detects a weight of the item and sends a signal to the container interface display apparatus indicating the detected weight of the item (which is also recorded in memory as part of the managed logistics information related to the container). Electronic logistics monitor information (e.g., at least a portion of the managed logistics information) is then generated on the display screen of the container interface display apparatus.

A door for a smart shipping container includes a door that has an outside skin strengthened by at least one hollow support beam defining an interior channel thereof. The door also includes embedded computing system disposed within the interior channel of the hollow support beam of the door. The embedded computing system includes a power source, memory, at least one processor, communications circuitry, an antenna and one or more sensors. Optionally, a window is defined in the hollow support beam so as to permit access by the antenna to an exterior of the door. For example, the window can be a three-sided window so as to permit access by the antenna to the exterior of the door irrespective of an opened or closed position of the door.

Systems and methods for cargo transportation management, including: a database, to store structure information for a plurality of containers; and a processor, in communication with the database, where the processor is configured to: receive cargo information, generate a container distribution plan, for distributing the cargo between the plurality of containers based on the structure information and based the received cargo information, and send the generated container distribution plan for packaging of the cargo, where each container includes a plurality of walls, at least one connector, configured to securely connect to another container; and at least one sensor, configured to monitor movement of the container and monitor movement of the cargo within the container, where at least one wall has changeable size.

The disclosure relates to method and system for performing real-time monitoring of a container containing a non-gaseous fluid substance. The method includes receiving, from a sensing device installed in the container and by a monitoring device, a dataset corresponding to the container and to a non-gaseous fluid substance in the container. The dataset may be acquired and transmitted by the sensing device at a preconfigured time-interval and may include level data corresponding to a level of the non-gaseous fluid substance in the container, temperature data corresponding to a temperature inside the container, and movement data corresponding to movement of the container or a lid of the container. The method further includes performing, by the monitoring device, a time-series analysis on the dataset for determining an anomaly; and generating, by the monitoring device, a graded alert based on the anomaly.

The storage device includes at least one storage unit, and the storage detection module group includes: at least one detection module mounted on at least one storage unit of the storage device and configured to detect the storage state of at least one storage unit; a communication module configured to send a request for updating storage information of an article to the server, in order to allow the server to obtain a updated storage information of an article according to the request for updating storage information of an article, when the detection module detects that the storage state of at least one storage unit is changed; a power module configured to supply an operating voltage for the detection module and the communication module.

A system for opening a lid of a bin comprises a guide channel plate comprising an elongated member, a first guide channel comprising a first slot formed within and along the length of the guide channel plate, and a second guide channel comprising a second slot formed within and along the length of the guide channel plate and parallel to the first guide channel slot. A block plate fits within the first and second guide channels and is secured by a block plate clamp. The block plate connects to a linear actuator that is secured to a support member of the bin. A slide block fits compressively within the first and second guide channels thus securing a flexible link assembly and wherein the slide block connects to the linear actuator. A connector plate allows connecting and disconnecting of the linear actuator.

A gas turbine storage container is composed of a horizontal cylindrical shell with openings at two opposite ends of the cylinder, outside is designed with frames to keep it fixed and has straps to install ropes when hoisting. The inside of the cylindrical shell is pumped with inert gas and contains desiccant. The engine is housed in a mount that can be fixed to the inside of the box, and has wheels to make it possible to move it out of the box. A sensor system that measures the temperature and humidity status inside the cylindrical shell can provide information about the quality of the gas stored in the cylindrical shell in real time without opening.
