Paper cup and method of forming the same
A paper cup and a method of forming the same. The paper cup may include a sidewall and a floor portion that collectively define a cavity. In one aspect, the paper cup may include a rim that is coated with a rigid shell that encapsulates the rim. In another aspect, a void defined by a rim of the paper cup may be filled with a rigid filler material, and the rigid filler material may be one that expands upon application of heat thereto. In yet another aspect, the paper cup may include a separate rim component that is attached to the sidewall. The separate rim component may be formed from molded pulp fibers, and it may include a flange portion that is attached to the sidewall and a rim portion that protrudes from the sidewall.
PACKAGE
A hybrid package (10) is provided and comprises a wall (20) formed from a paper or paper-based material and a frame (15) formed from a plastics material. The frame (15) includes a step which is positioned against a free edge of the wall, whereby one or more exposed edges of the wall are protected by the frame.

Drinking cup
A sanitary disposable drinking cup is described. The cup is designed to be grabbed from the top when served, but has a portion of its top circumference that is recessed vertically, so as to create both separate gripping and drinking surfaces so as to allow for serving personnel to handle the cup from the top surface without the necessity of contaminating the drinking surface. The cup is designed to nest so as to accommodate multiple cups being easily stored.

Flange Stabilizer for a Shaped Article of Fiber Material, Shaped Article, Method for Making a Shaped Article, and Use of a Flange Stabilizer
A shaped article, a method for making it, and its use. The shaped article is formed from flat fiber material and has a bottom (2), a body (4), and an opening, which is surrounded by a circumferential flange (6). The shaped article (1) comprises a flange stabilizer (10) attached to the second flat side (18) of the flange (6) facing the bottom (2). The flange stabilizer (10) is disc-shaped and has an inner contour (12) corresponding to the desired cross-sectional shape of the shaped article (1) in the region of the opening and can be slipped over the body (4) in the region of the bottom (2) and up to the flange (6). The flat sides (16, 18) of the flange stabilizer (10) extend essentially parallel to the flange (6), defining and stabilizing the cross-sectional shape of the body (4) in the region of the opening and the flange.

CORRUGATED PAPER CUP
Disclosed is a double-layer corrugated paper cup applicable to unmanned full-automatic manufacturing. The corrugated paper cup comprises a cup body formed by rolling a fan-shaped sheet, the fan-shaped sheet having a first straight edge and a second inclined edge, a first end of the single-layer corrugated paper is staggered with and parallel to a first end of the inner cup paper and a second end of the single-layer corrugated paper is flush with a second end of the inner cup paper, a corrugated cavity region of the fan-shaped sheet is flattened to form a first extruded corrugated cavity region and a thickness of the first extruded corrugated cavity region is smaller than that of a middle part of the fan-shaped sheet and a part of the first extruded corrugated cavity region is rolled outwardly together with the inner cup paper to form a rolled rim.
