Flow suppression device
A flow suppression device adapted to be connected to a high pressure fluid system includes an outer flow containment member of a porous and flexible construction. The outer flow containment member has an upstream end and a downstream end opposite the upstream end. The upstream end includes an inlet opening adapted to receive a flow stream of pressurized fluid from the high pressure fluid system and the downstream end being substantially closed. The flow suppression device also includes a primary inner flow containment member of a porous and flexible construction contained within the outer flow containment member. The primary inner flow containment member has an upstream end with an inlet opening adjacent the inlet opening of the outer flow containment member and a downstream end opposite the upstream end of the primary inner flow containment member.
Protective cover for rotor and associated shipping apparatuses
Protective covers for rotors are disclosed. The protective covers may include a first liner portion contacting and covering a first portion of the rotor, and a second liner portion positioned adjacent and at least partially aligned circumferentially with the first liner portion. The second liner portion may contact and cover a second portion of the rotor. The protective covers may also include an outer casing covering the first liner portion and the second liner portion.
Low adsorption sealant film, laminated body, and packaging bag
The invention provides a sealant film that is less likely to adsorb components formed of various types of organic compounds, has excellent heat sealing characteristics at 140° C., while having low heat sealing strength at 100° C. and being less likely for heat sealing layers to adhere to each other even when the film is used as a packaging bag and the content thereof is warmed in boiling water. The sealant film has at least one heat sealing layer consisting of a polyester component, wherein a heat sealing strength of the heat sealing layer being heat sealed to another heat sealing layer at 100° C. and 0.2 MPa for 2 seconds is 0-5 N/15 mm and at 140° C. and 0.2 MPa for 2 seconds is 8-30 N/15 mm, and a film density including all layers is 1.20 or more and less than 1.39.
Polymeric bags and method to make same
The present invention is directed to a bag of polymeric film and a method to make the bag. The bag can be comprised of a front panel and a rear panel. The front and rear panels can each be comprised of multiple layers of film. The bag can be formed from a collapsed bubble of polymeric film that has been folded in half so that opposing edges of the collapsed bubble form an opening of the bag. One of the layers of the folded bubble can be split adjacent to an edge of the collapsed bubble and a draw tape film can be inserted between the layers of the folded and collapsed bubble. The collapsed bubble can further be embossed by a pattern that can provide enhanced properties to bags formed from the folded bubble.
RECYCLABLE WOVEN PLASTIC BAGS WITH QUAD-SEAL AND/OR K-SEAL
A recyclable woven laminated plastic bag having features that further prevent leakage of contents out of the bag, or infestation of organisms into the contents of the bag is provided. In various aspects the bag can be fabricated from a woven polyethylene, polypropylene, or combination thereof layer which can be laminated using polyethylene, polypropylene, or combination thereof resin with a film layer formed from polyethylene, polypropylene, or combination thereof, can form a sealed corner bag and/or a diagonal sealed bag, and can have one or more sides include graphics and/or printing. The bag can also provide a top end and/or a bottom end either or both of which provide a discrete area which may contain discrete graphics and/or printing.
INDUSTRIAL CONTAINMENT BAGS WITH AN INTEGRATED AND NON-PERFORATED INTERIOR LINER
The present invention is directed to new and improved industrial containment bags, wherein the improvement comprises integrating a non-perforated liner as a part of the bag, and wherein the integration is accomplished by a direct attachment means (e.g., by a sewing process). In certain embodiments of this invention, the improved containment bags have a top opening. In other embodiments of this invention, the improved containment bags have an end or sidewall opening. The present invention is also directed to methods of manufacturing, using, filling, lifting, transporting, storing, and/or disposing of such new and improved industrial containment bags
Laminate body and packaging bag using the same
A laminated body having at least two or more different layers, wherein the laminate body is characterized by satisfying the following requirements (1) to (5): (1) the laminate body has a heat-sealing layer as at least one of the outermost layers, wherein the heat-sealing layer includes a polyester based component containing ethylene terephthalate as a main constituent component, and a sealing strength of 8 N/15 mm to 30 N/15 mm; (2) at least one layer other than the heat-sealing layer is an inorganic thin film layer; (3) a water vapor permeation rate of 0.1 g/m.sup.2.Math.d to 6 g/m.sup.2.Math.d; (4) an oxygen permeation rate of 5 ml/m.sup.2.Math.d.Math.MPa to 30 ml/m.sup.2.Math.d.Math.MPa; and (5) a heat shrinkage rate of −5% to 5%.
Medical gas tank isolation shroud with unitary sleeve and hood portions
An isolation shroud adapted to enclose and protect a medical gas tank against contamination, which is further replaceable between patients to prevent cross-contamination, comprising a sleeve portion with an open end and interior space, and a hood portion with a hood lower opening, adapted to enclose the body and upper end of the medical gas tank respectively. The hood portion is attached to and is continuous with a sleeve order surrounding the open end of the sleeve portion, allowing the open end and sleeve border to be simultaneously lifted to enclose the body and open end respectively. The hood portion further has a hood front opening, allowing a hose to extend from the medical gas tank outwardly through either the hood lower opening or front opening. A fastener attached to the hood portion further allows the hood lower opening to be sealed against the sleeve portion.
PACKAGING MATERIAL AND A MANUFACTURING PROCESS THEREOF
A packaging material comprising a core layer, an outermost layer arranged to face the exterior of a packaging container made of the packaging material, and an innermost layer arranged to face the interior of the packaging container is provided. The outermost layer and the innermost layer are laminated to the core layer. The laminated packaging material further comprises a locally distributed heat sealable material portion arranged on the innermost layer.
Storage System Having Two Pouches
A storage system has a first pouch for receiving an electronic device, and a second pouch for receiving the first pouch. The first pouch is at least partially surrounded by the second pouch when the first pouch is received in the second pouch. The first pouch has a first fabric layer. Furthermore, the first pouch has an insulating layer which is adjacent to the first fabric layer and is designed to absorb material arising in the event of combustion. The second pouch is closable in such a manner that, in the closed state of the second pouch, an opening for dissipating heat energy remains.
