METHODS FOR PACKAGING AND PRESERVING ZUCCHINI SPIRALS
Methods are provided for storing and preserving zucchini spirals, preferably so as to extend shelf life of the same. In one optional method, zucchini spirals are placed in a product containing space of a storage container atop a platform of a support structure. The storage container includes an internal compartment having the product containing space. The support structure defines the platform for supporting the zucchini spirals. The internal compartment further includes a reservoir, configured to retain liquid, below the platform. The platform and/or support structure are configured to direct liquid exuded from the zucchini spirals to the reservoir. Optionally, the reservoir comprises an absorbent material for absorbing liquid in the reservoir.
Bag assembly and bag system for use with a fluid
A bag assembly includes a first panel secured to a second panel by a seam so that a cavity is formed between the first panel and the second panel, the seam encircling the cavity. A first seal couples together the first panel and the second panel at a location spaced apart from the seam so that the cavity encircles the first seal. In one embodiment, the first seal can be circular. A first port communicates with the cavity.
Microwave Cooking Bag
A microwavable bag for cooking food is disclosed. The bag may have holes or vents that may allow the release of steam and heat from the interior of the bag during the microwave cooking process. The bag may also include a top lid and a bottom lid that may be configured to lock together when the bag is in a compact state. This allows for easy transportation of the bag. The bag may expand during the microwave cooking process and be opened safely to consume the food. Food to be cooked within the bag may include popcorn kernels or other food.

A first seal couples together the first panel and the second panel at a location spaced apart from the seam so that the cavity encircles the first seal. In one embodiment, the first seal can be circular. A first port communicates with the cavity.
Bag assembly and system for use with a fluid
A bag assembly includes a pliable housing having a first panel secured to a second panel by a seam so that a cavity is formed between the first panel and the second panel, the seam encircling the cavity. A first tufting couples together the first panel and the second panel at a location spaced apart from the seam so that the cavity encircles the first tufting. In one embodiment the first tufting can circular. A first port is coupled with the pliable housing and communicating with the cavity.

Freezer bag, storage system, and method of freezing
A freezer bag, a storage system, and a method of freezing are provided. The freezer bag includes a pliable housing having opposing sides and bounding a cavity at least partially disposed between the opposing sides, each opposing side having an interior surface communicating with the cavity and an opposing exterior surface that is openly exposed, the pliable housing including a first panel and a seam. A first tufting couples together the opposing sides of the pliable housing at a distance spaced apart from the seam so that the cavity encircles the first tufting. A first port is connected to the pliable housing and communicates with the cavity.
Combined box and resealable bag
A combined box and resealable bag includes a paperboard box having a front wall, a rear wall, a pair of opposed side walls and a plurality of flaps capable of forming a bottom wall. The box walls have upper ends and lower ends, inside surfaces and outside surfaces. The upper end of each of the box walls is folded outwardly and downwardly so that the inside surface of each of the upper ends forms a strip that faces outwardly. The inside surfaces of the box walls, including the outwardly facing strips, have a thermal plastic coating thereon. The combination also includes a bag made of flexible plastic material having a zippered top and downwardly extending front and rear bag walls. While the box is still in its flat blank condition, the lower edge portion of the bag walls are heat sealed to the outwardly facing strips on the box blank. Thereafter, the front, rear and side walls of the box blank are expanded to form a box.
LEAK-TIGHT CONTAINER COMPRISING A TWO-LAYER LEAK-TIGHT REINFORCING STRIP
The invention relates to a leak-tight container comprising a bag (2) formed of a flexible film made of polymer and a leak-tight connection device that is intended to engage with a complementary connection device of a sterile chamber, the connection device comprising a flange (6) to which the bag (2) is bonded, characterized in that the container comprises a two-layer leak-tight reinforcing strip (10) composed of a first layer (11) made of polystyrene and of a second, reinforcing layer (12) made of a material compatible with that of the bag (2) to allow the reinforcing strip (10) to be directly bonded to the bag (2), the rigidity of the second layer being greater than that of the first layer (11), the reinforcing strip (10) being inserted between the flange, which is made of polymer, and the bag such that the first layer (11) is bonded to the flange and the second, reinforcing layer (12) is bonded to the bag.
