Flexible container

A flexible container includes a first panel formed from a flexible elastomeric material and a second panel formed from the flexible elastomeric material which is preferably a food grade silicone. The panels join together to form the flexible container and define an interior volume. A first closure and a second closure are provided along an opening defined at a portion of a perimeter of the flexible container, in which the first closure includes mating interlocking teeth and the second closure includes a mating rail and groove.

CLOSURE DEVICE

A reclosable bag comprising a first wall and a second wall, a zipper, and a plurality of impressions. The first and second wall form a product pouch and a mouth, where the mouth is configured to the selectively closable. The zipper further comprises a first profile and a second profile that can be releasably interlocked with each other. The plurality of impressions are formed immediately over and extend into the one or both or the first or second profile along the length of the zipper. The impressions are in an angled orientation with each other to form a generally zigzag pattern such that when the first and second profile are interlocked, a user receives tactile and audible feedback.

Slider with ergonomic features

A slider for a closure assembly of a bag. The slider has a pair of finger pads extending from a top wall. Each pad has a surface with a curved portion running from a front end to a back end of the slider, a defined, first curved area extending from the curved portion to an end of the first curved area, and a defined, second curved area extending from the end of the first curved area to a midpoint of the curved portion. The first curved area and the second curved area are defined by different angles at which the respective curved area extends into the respective finger pad. Each finger pad includes a major axis dimension greater than a minor axis dimension to provide an area that fits an average finger size, and a lip region to guide a finger of a user into a finger pad.

Vacuum bag sealing system and method for composite parts

A vacuum bag sealing system may include a composite bagging sheet, and at least one interlocking strip connected to a surface of the composite bagging sheet, wherein the interlocking strip is configured to join a first section of the composite bagging sheet to a second section of the composite bagging sheet to form a sealed vacuum bag.

SEALABLE PIPING BAGS

A disposable piping bag comprising a pair of side panels having joined side edges, the bag having a substantially conical configuration, the side edges extending downward to a sealed or unsealed tip and extending upward to an opening along upper edges incorporating an integral resealable closure in the side panels. The resealable closure has corresponding and adjacent lengths of a closure having one or more mating male ribs and female sealing channels on the side panels extending along a width of the bag opening. In one embodiment, the piping bag has a configuration with a substantially frusto-conical lower portion, a substantially cylindrical mid-portion, and a substantially frusto-conical upper portion.

Hinged slider for a closure assembly

A hinged slider for a closure assembly of a bag includes a top wall and a pair of legs extending from the top wall. A first leg and a second leg of the pair each includes a top end attached to the top wall and a bottom end opposing the top end. A pair of wings is hingedly attached to the pair of legs. A first wing and a second wing of the pair of wings is each hingedly attached to the bottom end of the first leg and second leg, respectively, as a hinge mechanism. The first wing and the second wing hinge downwardly in order to install the slider onto the closure assembly.

Microstructure connecting mechanism and plastic storage bag with microstructure closure mechanism

A connection mechanism including a plurality of microstructure features. The connection mechanism includes a first strip, with a plurality of protrusions extending from the first strip, and a second strip, with a plurality of protrusions extending from the second strip. The protrusions define grooves between adjacent protrusions. A pressure sensitive adhesive is provided in at least some of the grooves. When the first and second strips are brought together, the protrusions from one strip are received in the grooves of the other, and some of the protrusions contact the pressure sensitive adhesive, thereby connecting the first and second strips. The connection mechanism can be used as a closure mechanism for a plastic storage bag.

RESEALABLE CHILDPROOF BAG SYSTEM AND METHOD
20220242619 · 2022-08-04 ·

A bag including a childproof resealable closure system. The bag includes an opening extending from a first end to a second end configured with a closure system to seal the opening. The closure system includes a first elongate closure element and a second elongate closure element, coupled to opposing sidewalls of the bag and extending from the first end to the second end. The first and second elongate closure elements may be resealably interlocked to provide the seal. The first closure element may be coupled to its sidewall along its lower portion while leaving the upper portion of the closure element substantially disconnected. The second closure element may be coupled to its sidewall along its upper and lower portions. The second closure element may include a discreet partial gap along its length to facilitate the gripping and separating of the closure system, to render the resealable bag childproof.

Audible cut and crush zipper

A zipper for a reclosable package or bag, wherein the female profile has been crushed at first periodical intervals and the male profile has been cut at second periodic intervals. This provides audible and tactile feedback characteristics to the zipper.
