A tamper-evident security device to be used in conjunction with a slidable closure on a carrier bag comprises a bottom component (positioned within the bag itself) and a top component attached to a front panel of the carrier bag so to be located over the bottom component. The top and bottom components are fixed together in an immovable form, and the top component includes a recess for supporting the slider mechanism of the slidable fastener. A lid component is coupled to the top component via a hinge element, wherein upon closure of the lid component over the top component, the slider mechanism of the fastener is fully enclosed. A provided frangible seal (included to indicate possible attempts to tamper with the closure) is attached to the security device, with an end portion of the top component including a cover tab to hold the frangible seal in place as the carrier bag is handled during transport.

A tamper evident package for secure delivery of a product is disclosed. The tamper evident packaging includes a plurality of sidewalls having a closure providing access to an interior compartment of the packaging. The closure includes a closure slide that urges a closure seal into cooperative engagement during movement of the closure slide. Cooperating ratchet teeth are provided in the closure slide and at a closed end of the closure to retain the closure slide in a locked position. The closure slide includes a land for carrying a unique identifier code. The unique identifier code is visible through a window in the closure when the closure slide is in the locked position. The tamper evident packaging may be used with a product delivery service where the unique identifier code is used to identify an order through a packing of the product through receipt of the product by the customer.

Certain examples of the present invention relate to a protective cover 100, and method of using the same, for protecting forensic evidence 104 and/or a forensic scene 604. The cover 100 comprises a covering member 101 for at least partially covering forensic evidence 104 and/or an entry way to a forensic scene 604, wherein the covering member 101 is configured to be breathable 106 and waterproof 107; a fixing means 102 for affixing the cover 100 to a surface 105 in an affixed condition 100, wherein the affixing means 102 is provided at each peripheral edge 101a-101d of the covering member 101; and tamper indicating means 103 for indicating tampering of the cover in the affixed condition 100, wherein the tamper indicating means 103 is provided at each peripheral edge 101a-101d of the covering member 101.

A tamper evident package for secure delivery of a product is disclosed. The tamper evident packaging includes a plurality of sidewalls having a closure providing access to an interior compartment of the packaging. The closure includes a closure slide that urges a closure seal into cooperative engagement during movement of the closure slide. Cooperating ratchet teeth are provided in the closure slide and at a closed end of the closure to retain the closure slide in a locked position. The closure slide includes a land for carrying a unique identifier code. The unique identifier code is visible through a window in the closure when the closure slide is in the locked position. The tamper evident packaging may be used with a product delivery service where the unique identifier code is used to identify an order through a packing of the product through receipt of the product by the customer.

A reclosable enclosure includes a body having a front panel and a back panel secured to each other and forming a cavity therebetween to store contents. The body includes a flap that extends from a top end of the body. The reclosable enclosure includes a zipper assembly coupled to an interior surface of at least the front panel. The zipper assembly includes a first profile strip and a second profile strip that form a reclosable zipper to selectively close the cavity. The flap blocks access to the reclosable zipper and is sealed to at least one of the front panel or the second profile strip in an intact state of the flap. The flap defines one or more lines of weakness to permit irreparable separation of a sub-flap from a remainder of the flap to access the reclosable zipper.

A recycling bag and a method for incorporating the bag into a recycling program are provided. The bag and method include a resealable bag including a tamper evident seal having a unique identifier. The unique identifier is associated with a user. The recyclable contents of the bag are appraised and a valuation metric are assigned to the user upon recycling.

A container sealing system and a container feature said container sealing system are disclosed. Said container sealing system comprises one or more seals encompassing a container opening, wherein the one or more seals are interlockable or otherwise engageable to seal the container when activated; a first slider head comprising a male fitting coupled to the one or more seals; and a second slider head coupled to the one or more seals and opposing the first slider head, and comprising a female fitting for receiving and coupling the male fitting. Actuation of at least one of the slider heads such that the male fitting contacts the female fitting couples the one or more seals encompassing the container opening, sealing the container. The container sealing system may be child-resistant, may be resealable, and/or may comprise a tamper-indicating feature. The container comprising the container sealing system may be used for containing, storing, or transporting materials that are not suitable for handling or consumption by a child.

The application describes a container, bag, pouch or envelope which has a first part and a second part, the container, bag, pouch or envelope being closed by the first part locating within the second part, the second part having a first opening for receiving the first part and a second opening for receiving the head of a breakable and disposable seal which locks into the first part in such a manner that it cannot be removed without breaking the seal, the seal in its inserted position locking the first part in place inside the second part in a tamper evident fashion.
