Method of packing a temperature controlled product

A method of packing a temperature sensitive product utilizes a temperature controlled product shipper that includes a phase change material bladder which can be filled with a preconditioned brined-slurry PCM at the point of packaging. The temperature sensitive product is contained within a product box or master case, which is in turn packed inside an insulated liner and an outer box. The PCM bladder fits between the master case and the insulated liner and is filled with the preconditioned flowable PCM at the point of packing just before closing the box for shipment.

Tamper evident enclosure for a food/beverage container and method

A tamper evident delivery enclosure assembly that includes a thin base portion having a seating aperture configured to supportably seat a beverage container. A pair of foldable wing extensions coupled to generally opposed sections of the base portion that foldably extend upwardly in a manner such that the foldable wing extensions substantially extend over the container mouth portion and mounted lid to form an interior pocket, in an engaged condition that substantially prevents access to the lid. A single use closure tape, laterally mounted to the wing extensions, has an upper lateral portion extending beyond the wing member, in an unsealed condition. A removable protective strip removably covers the tape adhesive of the tape lateral portion. When the protective strip is removed, and the wing extensions are in the engaged condition, the tape upper lateral portion can be folded over such that the adhesive is brought into contact with an exterior surface of the enclosure assembly, substantially locking the wing extensions in a sealed condition.

BEVERAGE CONTAINER WITH INSULATED COVER

A beverage container assembly is provided comprising a beverage container body, a stopper member removably attachable to the beverage container to seal a beverage container aperture thereof, and a thermal insulation member removably attachable to an upper body portion of the beverage container body. The thermal insulation member has a sidewall extending downwardly from an upper portion and defining a downwardly opening cavity within which the upper body portion and the stopper are positioned. The sidewall and the upper portion of the thermal insulation member each include an inner wall and an outer wall spaced apart from the inner wall. An insulation chamber is disposed between the inner and outer walls. The thermal insulation member includes an engagement portion adapted to engage with a corresponding engagement portion of the upper body portion to removably attach the thermal insulation member thereto.

MEDICAL RUBBER STOPPER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING MEDICAL RUBBER STOPPER

The present invention aims to provide a medical rubber stopper that is excellent in chemical resistance and airtightness while having good productivity. The present invention relates to a medical rubber stopper including: a disk-shaped head portion with a flange region; and a cylindrical leg portion protruding from the lower surface of the head portion and having a smaller diameter than the head portion, the lower surface of the flange region and the leg portion being laminated with an inert film, the lower surface of the flange region and/or the outer periphery of the leg portion being provided with an annular groove through which the base rubber is exposed.

WINE BOTTLE WITH CORK RETAINER AND RE-USE FEATURES
20220055786 · 2022-02-24 ·

A wine bottle is provided with a punt at a lower end which includes a cork retainer therein. A cork which closes an opening at an upper end of the bottle, can thus be stored within the cork retainer in the punt of the bottle, when not in use closing the opening. In one embodiment, the cork retainer includes two retainer surfaces which are opposing each other horizontally, and spaced apart by a length similar to opposing portions of the cork to allow the cork to fit tightly between these retainer surfaces. Space above the retainer surfaces can hold a foil wrap with the cork within the cork retainer and holding the foil wrap in place. The cork and foil can thus remain with the bottle before, during and after use. Full re-use of the bottle is thus facilitated. In one embodiment, the bottle has an octagonal shape so that multiple bottles can be shipped together and placed adjacent each other with flat surfaces distributing loads therebetween, without forces concentrated at points thereof, and to keep the bottles in good shape for washing, re-filling and re-use.

SAFEGUARDING DEVICE DESIGNED TO SECURE A CONTAINER

The bottle has a neck sealed by a stopper. The safeguarding device (2) comprises a first and a second part (20, 21), the first part (20) being adapted to be integrated in the stopper (1) and the two parts (20, 21) being joined in translation while allowing a limited relative movement of one part with respect to the other when a traction force is applied to the safeguarding device (2) in order to remove said stopper (1) from the neck. According to the invention, the safeguarding device comprises an electrical component (212) disposed so that at least one electrical characteristic of said component is modified during the relative movement of the two parts (20, 21).
