SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR DE-OXYGENATION OF A CLOSED CONTAINER
Systems and methods for preserving oxidizable substances such as liquids or foodstuffs are disclosed. These systems incorporate a sealing device and an oxygen scavenging chemical or agent coupleable to the system. The oxygen scavenging agent can remove the oxygen from the headspace of a container such as a bottle of wine without reducing the pressure in the headspace to the extent that the flavor of the wine is adversely affected.

Breakable locking cap for a container comprising a neck
The invention relates to a locking cap for a container comprising a neck, intended to block a stopper in the neck of the container and comprising: an external body having a breakable part, a cage that is configured to fit into and lock axially in the external body, and having a breakable zone, the cage further comprising: an upper ring, a plurality n of branches that are connected to the upper ring and define therewith a generally cylindrical shape, n/2 first bridges and n/2 second bridges, each interconnecting two adjacent branches, at least one opening tab, which is supported by a second bridge, which is inclined toward the outside of the cage and is oriented toward the upper ring, the opening tab being adjacent to the breakable zone, which is located on the second bridge.
Cap For An Opening Of A Container
The present invention relates to a cap for covering an opening of a container, preferably the opening of a bottle. The present invention is characterized by a cork body having a cylindrical configuration and configured in two portions between which there is arranged an impermeable sheet element according to the longitudinal direction. The presence of an impermeable sheet allows using a conventional closure material preventing permeability in the longitudinal direction both to prevent the liquid from coming out of the container and to prevent bacteria or contaminants from the outside from entering.
DEVICE FOR SEALING A CONTAINER COMPRISING A NECK
The invention relates to a device (100) for sealing a container having a neck, said device comprising: a deformable portion (1) intended to be at least partially arranged inside the neck of the container so as to seal it in a leak tight manner, said portion being capable of deforming elastically when inserted into the neck, said portion comprising a first end intended to be oriented towards the inside of the container, and a radiofrequency identification tag (11), said device being characterised in that it comprises at least one piezoelectric component (10) electrically connected to the tag (11) and arranged inside said deformable portion (1), within a blind recess on the first end side, generating an electric voltage caused by expansion of the deformable portion containing the piezoelectric component when said deformable portion is removed from the neck, said electric voltage being capable of causing a change of state of the radiofrequency identification tag.
Automatable closure
A cap for a fluid container includes a main body, an actuator ring slidable along the main body and having an annular groove, and a plurality of latches having secure and release states and that may be placed in the release state by contact with the actuator ring. A closure system for a fluid container includes the cap, and a lip attached to a fluid container that is engaged by the latches of the cap. The lip may be integral with a fluid container or part of an adapter that is connected to the fluid container. A method of automated handling of a container includes engaging an annular groove of an actuator ring of a cap using a robotic arm, driving the actuator ring, and removing the cap from the container. The method may further include transporting the container via engagement of the robotic arm with the cap.
Locking top for vessel having a neck
A locking top for blocking a stopper in the neck of a vessel comprises an outer body and a cage that is configured to fit into and lock axially in the outer body. The cage comprises an upper ring, a plurality n of branches connected to the upper ring, n/2 median bridges and n/2 lower bridges arranged in alternation on the periphery of the cage, each connecting together two adjacent branches. When the top is in an intermediate holding position in which the stopper is partially pushed into the neck, the lower bridges surround, at least in part, a collar of the neck; the median bridges located, in an axial direction, between the upper ring and the lower bridges are designed to form an open space between them and the collar.
Systems and methods for de-oxygenation of a closed container
A de-oxygenation stopper configured to enable aging of an oxygen sensitive material such as wine contained within a vessel, while minimizing oxygen content within the vessel. The stopper includes an oxygen scavenging element configured to remove and/or neutralize oxygen molecules within the vessel, and a sealing element formed of one or more materials having tailored oxygen transmission rate(s) configured to enable the material to age at a desired rate.

Stopper for a container for use in freeze-drying processes, and assembly of a stopper and a container
A stopper for a container and an assembly of a stopper and a container wherein the stopper has an insertion section configured for insertion into the container. The insertion section has a sealing section for closing the container in a sealing position of the stopper and a contact section for holding the stopper in a drying position of the stopper. The contact section has at least one passage opening for a gas exchange between an interior of the container and the surroundings of the container. The stopper has a sealing body and a main body connected together, wherein the main body has a higher degree of hardness than the sealing body. Regions of a lateral surface of the insertion section in contact with an inner surface of a container wall are formed by outer surfaces of the sealing body in the region of the contact section.
