A dog toy container can be used to store dog toys or consumable objects, such as chew toys, ropes, balls, stuffed animals, edible chews, bones, and other similar objects used to entertain or reward or please dogs. The dog toy container having a pedal arrangement and a lid in connection with a motorized movement arrangement, such that when a dog depresses the pedal arrangement with its paw, the dog will activate the motor to lift or lower the lid and thereby permit the dog access to the storage area.

A trash receptacle with foot pedal actuated vented shoes that eliminate the vacuum created from a full flexible trash liner. Closeable side vents are actuated mechanically and are connected via linkages to the foot pedal mounted near the bottom of the receptacle. A pet food storage container for dry pet food includes a shell that defines an interior space. The shell has a top that is open. A lid that is hingedly coupled to the shell proximate to the top is positioned to selectively close the top. A spring that is positioned in the interior space is coupled to a bottom of the shell and extends toward the top. A plate is coupled to the spring distal from the bottom. The plate is configured to position dry pet food so that the spring is compressed and tensioned, positioning the spring to rebound as the dry pet food is removed from the interior space.
