Lid assembly with a rotary trigger for seal assembly and beverage container comprising the same
The present invention provides a lid assembly with a rotary trigger mechanism in combination with a seal assembly useful for actuating to open or close drink orifices and/or gas vent and is also able to selectively open the type of drink orifice as desirable. The invention also relates to a beverage container comprising such a lid assembly.
COVER DEVICE FOR A DRINK CONTAINER
A cover device (2) for a drink container comprises a basic assembly (9) which is provided with a drink opening (32), and a valve arrangement (20) for blocking or unblocking a passage to the drink opening (32) from a drink container side of the cover device (2). The valve arrangement (20) comprises a valve element (26) having two portions (27, 28) which are connected to each other through an area of the valve element (26) at a position where the valve element (26) is hingably associated with the basic assembly (9), and wherein only one of the two portions (27, 28) is in direct communication with the drink opening (32) of the basic assembly (9), so that a smallest total moment of force may be realized on the one portion (28) when the valve element (26) is subjected to pressure from the drink container side of the cover device (2).
DISCHARGE-TYPE CAP AND BOTTLE HAVING THE SAME
A discharge-type cap includes an outer housing detachably coupled to an inner surface of an upper opening of a container, a button portion hinged to an upper portion of the outer housing, and a tube having one end located in a lower portion of the outer housing and the other end located on a side of the button portion. The button portion includes an upper tube insertion hole which has a lower surface and a side surface communicating to each other and into which the tube is inserted, and the outer housing includes a lower tube insertion hole having a central portion into which the tube is inserted and inclined in a direction in which the other end of the tube is located.
Flip straw cup assembly
A flip straw cup assembly having a container body, a lid that may be detachable and a straw assembly. The lid Includes a flip straw that is biased towards an extended position and retractable into a recess and securable by a flip lock. The straw assembly includes a straw body, a cap and a resealable seam extending the longitudinal length of the straw body that is adapted to open the straw body for cleaning.
TURRET CLOSURE ASSEMBLY
A closure assembly for a dispenser container comprises a base defining a longitudinal recess and a body configured to be moveably coupled to the base. The base comprises a first seal positioned at a first end of the recess and a second seal positioned at an opposing second end of the recess. The body comprises a first body end and an opposing second body end. A shaft extends from the first body end to the second body end. The body is configured to move between an open position where the body is fluidly connected with the recess, and a closed position where the body engages the first seal and the second seal. The first seal and the second seal are configured to exert a force toward each other in a direction along a longitudinal axis of the body to tension the body.

Spout unit, lid assembly comprising the spout unit, beverage container and method for manufacturing the spout unit
The present invention provides a spout unit for dispensing beverage in a beverage container, including a spout and a reinforcement unit overmolded with the spout. The reinforcement unit includes a device for reinforcing interlocking of the reinforcement unit with the spout, for example shut off holes and/or depressions, at least a pair of tabs, and one or more outwardly facing longitudinal grooves. This invention also relates to a lid assembly including the spout unit, and a beverage container assembly including such a lid assembly. Furthermore, this invention provides a method for manufacturing the spout unit.
FLIP STRAW CUP ASSEMBLY
A flip straw cup assembly haying a container body, a lid that may be detachable and a straw assembly. The lid includes a flip straw that is biased towards an extended position and retractable into a recess and securable by a flip lock. The straw assembly includes a straw body, a cap and a resealable seam extending the longitudinal length of the straw body that is adapted to open the straw body for cleaning.
Container lid with rotatable sipper and flexible handle
A container lid can include: a body having an opening formed therethrough; a sipping member rotatably coupled to the body, a passageway formed through an interior of the sipping member so as to extend from a proximal end of the sipping member to a distal end of the sipping member, the sipping member configured to rotate between a stowed position in which the passageway and the opening are misaligned, such that the opening is sealed, and a released position in which the passageway and the opening are aligned; and a flexible handle connected at a first end to the sipping member and rotatably coupled at a second end to the body via a pivot pin. The handle can be configured such that a substantially downward force exerted on the handle causes rotation of the sipping member toward the released position.
SELF-VENTING CONTAINER WITH USER-CONTROLLED VALVE
A liquid container, meeting all federal, state and local regulations, comprising a vessel with an opening and a self-venting spout which is mounted to the vessel in a manner allowing the spout, from a stowed position, to rotate into its operational position and coupling to the opening with a coupler. Both open ends of the spout are automatically covered when stowed. A valve assembly at the opening of the vessel is operated externally by a trigger located near the underside of the primary handle. The valve assembly controls flow of liquid out of the vessel and through the self-venting spout. Venting of the vessel is allowed through a series of channels, respectively comprising an interior channel within the spout, an intake port, and an intake channel leading to the rear of the vessel above the liquid line. The vessel opening is covered by a lid mounted to the vessel that rotates into operational or stowed position and is sealed by the coupler.
