Food holder
Described herein is a food holder including a multiple-panel sleeve that may include a front panel, a rear panel, two front-side panels and two back-side panels that form an irregular shape. The multiple-panel sleeve includes a bottom member connected to bottom edges of the front and rear panels. The irregular, tapered shape of the bottom member promotes the structural integrity of the food holder.
Container With Liner
A container for holding a food product. The container can comprise a flange comprising a central panel. An opening can extend in the central panel. The container further can comprise a sidewall comprising at least a panel foldably connected to the central panel and a denesting feature extending outwardly from the sidewall. The denesting feature can be for engaging a nested container positioned below the container in a stacked arrangement and for forming a denesting gap between the flange and the nested container.
DISPLAY PACKAGES, BLANKS FOR FORMING THE DISPLAY PACKAGE AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A display package according to example embodiments includes an outer structure defining a back panel, side panels, a top panel and a bottom panel of the display package, an inner structure defining a front panel of the display package, the inner structure being interlocked with the outer structure, and a tray between the interlocked inner and outer structures. The tray is configured to hold at least one item. The inner structure is inwardly bent against the tray. A top panel flap of the inner structure is between the top panel of the display package and the tray.
Tray with nesting anti-lock feature
A container including a bottom portion and a plurality of peripheral wall portions extending from the bottom portion and defining an interior area of the container. At least one peripheral wall portion has an inner surface including a feature defining an inner ledge extending into the interior area, the inner ledge being located between the bottom portion and an upper edge of the container. The at least one peripheral wall portion has an outer surface including a feature defining an outer ledge located between the bottom portion and the upper edge of the container. The inner ledge is positioned to engage the outer ledge of a similarly-configured container whereby a spacing between a stack of nested containers is defined by the outer ledge of the similarly-configured container seated on the inner ledge of the container.
METHODS AND MACHINE FOR FORMING CONTAINERS HAVING TOP FLANGE WITH GLUED CORNERS
A container forming apparatus for forming a container from a blank includes a blank transfer station including an adhesive assembly having a plurality of adhesive applicators, and a compression station downstream of the blank transfer station, the compression station including a vertically movable mandrel and a forming tool below the mandrel. The forming tool defines a cavity therein and has an inner profile complementary in shape to an outer profile of the mandrel. Hot-melt adhesive is applied to a surface of the blank as the blank is transferred through the adhesive assembly. The blank is positioned beneath the mandrel, and the mandrel drives the blank downward into the cavity of forming tool. Compression plates fold panels of the blank, and the formed container includes a fully formed top flange.
METHOD OF FORMING CONTAINERS HAVING A BOTTOM WALL WITH AN OPENING, SAME CONTAINERS, AND BLANKS FOR FORMING SAME
A container includes a first end structure defining a first opening therein, the first end structure being configured to receive a first cover positioned on the first end structure and extending across the first opening. A second end structure is positioned opposite the first end structure and defines a second opening extending through the second end structure. The container further includes two opposing side walls coupled to the second end structure along a respective first set of fold lines and two opposing end walls coupled to the second end structure along a respective second set of fold lines. At least one of the two opposing end walls extends obliquely relative to the second end structure and taper outwards from the second end structure. The container further includes a second cover positioned on the second end structure and extending across the second opening.
Container With Liner
A container for holding a food product. The container can comprise a base layer and a liner at least partially attached to an inner surface of the base layer, a flange comprising a central panel of the base layer, an opening extending in the central panel, and a sidewall comprising at least a panel foldably connected to the central panel along the opening.
TRIANGULAR PACKAGES AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
A triangular package includes three sides and two end tab each covering a portion of an end of the triangular package. A method of forming a triangular package includes bending side portions of stock material to form the sides of the triangular packaging and shrink wrapping the triangular package causing tabs to cover portions of the triangular package ends.
Paperboard article for making a container and container comprising the paperboard article
A paperboard article (1) for making a container (8) comprises an annular frame (2), which surrounds an internal zone (20), and a plurality of wings (3) connected to the annular frame (2). Each wing (3) comprises a first portion (31) and a second portion (32), wherein the second portion (32) is connected to the annular frame (2) and is interposed between the annular frame (2) and the first portion (31). The paperboard article (1) is configured to adopt a flat configuration and an expanded configuration. In the flat configuration, the paperboard article (1) has a substantially planar shape and the wings (3) are coplanar without overlapping each other. In the expanded configuration, the paperboard article (1) has a substantially tray-like shape, wherein the annular frame (2) forms an annular flange (71), the first portions (31) of the wings (3) form a bottom wall (72) and the second portions (32) of the wings (3) form lateral walls (73). For at least one pair of wings (3), the first portion (31) of a first wing has a seat (34) and the first portion (31) of a second wing has a projection (35) that is housed in the seat (34) of the first wing: in the expanded configuration, an edge section (37) of the projection (35) makes contact with an edge section (36) of the seat (34).
