The invention relates to a method for top sealing a cardboard tray lined with a plastic foil. The method includes the steps of providing a cardboard tray having a bottom, upstanding walls arranged along the periphery of the bottom and a horizontal flange arranged along the upper edges of the upstanding walls, wherein the inside of the cardboard tray is lined with a plast foil, which plastic foil extends at least onto the horizontal flange; arranging the cardboard tray in a lower sealing tool member having a compressible support edge, wherein at least the horizontal flange is supported by the compressible support edge of the lower sealing tool member; arranging a cover foil over the cardboard tray arranged in the lower sealing tool member to cover the opening of the tray defined by the upper edges of the upstanding walls; and pressing a heated upper sealing tool member onto the lower sealing tool member, wherein the cover foil, the plastic foil liner and the horizontal flange are pressed together to seal the cover foil onto the plastic foil liner along the horizontal flange. The overlapping area of the plastic foil liner, the cover foil, and the compressible support edge extends at least partially outside of the area of the horizontal flange.

A carton for holding at least one food product includes a plurality of panels at least partially extending around an interior of the carton, the plurality of panels including a bottom panel, at least one side panel, at least one end panel, and an access panel. The carton further includes a plurality of end flaps foldably connected to a respective panel of the plurality of panels, the plurality of end flaps including a lid flap foldably connected to a respective panel of the plurality of panels for forming a closed end of the carton. The carton further includes leak-resistant features including a downwardly sloping arrangement of the at least one side panel and the at least one end panel toward the bottom panel to form a bottom receptacle for one or more fluids in the interior of the carton.
CONTAINMENT DEVICE WITH REINFORCEMENT FRAME FOR INCREASED STRENGTH
A reinforced containment device, which is mainly composed of a main container (10) and a reinforcing frame (20) where it is arranged in the upper part of the main container (10) to increase its resistance. The reinforcing frame (20) is preferably composed of a sheet of paper, cardboard or similar materials generating a perimeter frame that has a sealing surface (25) in its upper part, wherein this frame is continuous, seamless and has a plurality of upper gluing tabs (21) that extend from a fold (22) that meets the upper part of the walls (12) of the main container (10).
PACKAGING, ENVELOPE FOR A PACKAGING AND BLANK FOR PRODUCING AN ENVELOPE
Disclosed is a packaging for storing goods, in particular rod-shaped goods like cigarettes, smoking products with filter inserts, smoking products with tobacco sticks and the like, including an internal box with at least one container-like first receiving area for storing goods and an envelope for receiving the internal box, wherein the envelope includes at least one opening or recess for receiving further items in at least one second receiving area formed by the envelope and separated from the first receiving area by a bottom wall of the internal box. Furthermore, disclosed is an envelope, and a blank therefore, for a box for storing such goods, the envelope including at least one bottom wall, a front wall and a rear wall as well as sidewalls connecting the front and rear walls, wherein the walls form a container-like receiving area for receiving the box.
METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF AN ECO-BOWL
A method for producing a bowl formed by a tray closed by a sealing film involves preparing a blank where a first and a second couples of crease lines delimit a bottom panel, two first and two second side walls, each first side wall provided of an internal flap and an external flap delimited by respective third and fourth crease lines, each second side wall provided of an internal flap and an external flap delimited by respective fifth and sixth crease lines, erecting the blank into a tray, folding the internal and external flaps of each first side wall about the respective third crease line and the internal and external flaps of each second side wall about the respective fifth crease line, applying adhesive on the internal and/or external flaps of each first and second side walls, folding the external flap of each first side wall about the respective fourth crease line and the external flap of each second side wall about the respective sixth crease line, forming a rim, applying adhesive on gaps between abutting ends of rims of adjacent first and second side walls, and attaching the sealing film on the rims.
Cardboard tray
A cardboard tray folded from an unfolded sheet of cardboard includes: a bottom wall with a circumferential edge formed out of an even number of straight edges; wall parts each arranged to a straight edge of the bottom wall; and first flange parts alternately arranged to subsequent wall parts along the circumferential edge. The first flange parts include at least a first, a second, and a third elongate flange part section, which are connected parallel and along an elongate edge to each other. The first elongate flange part section is arranged to the respective wall part, the third elongate flange part section is connected parallel and along an elongate edge to the second elongate flange part section, the third elongate flange part section is adhered to the outside of the respective wall part, and the second flange part section is double folded against the first flange part section.
TRAY CONTAINER
A tray container includes a paper-based material having a number of sides extending from a container bottom. Each side has a proximal end that is contiguous with the container bottom and a distal end that is configured to fold into a bonding surface and a reinforced portion. The bonding surface and the reinforced portion each include two layers of the container material. The tray container has a perimeter bonding surface that includes each bonding surface of the container sides. A support ring is attached to the perimeter bonding surface, defining a cover bonding surface to which a film or mesh cover may be bonded.
Container with liner
A container for holding a food product. The container can comprise a flange comprising a central panel. An opening can extend in the central panel. The container further can comprise a sidewall comprising at least a panel foldably connected to the central panel and a denesting feature extending outwardly from the sidewall. The denesting feature can be for engaging a nested container positioned below the container in a stacked arrangement and for forming a denesting gap between the flange and the nested container.
