FOLDABLE TRANSPORT CONTAINER AND METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING SUCH A CONTAINER
The present invention is directed to a foldable transport container suitable to receive and hold multiple plates with samples in it. The container is comfortable to load, transport and unload. The invention also relates to a strip of material for providing such a foldable transport container. Finally the invention relates to a method for assembling such a foldable container.
BLANK AND BOX
A blank for forming a box for packaging and displaying objects includes a flexible sheet with a plurality of panels that fold into a box. Perforated lines of weakness extend between rows of the plurality of panels. A lateral row along the plurality of panels includes a plurality of tabs from which to display the objects.
PIZZA BOX CONFIGURED TO FORM SMALLER BOX FOR STORAGE OF LEFTOVERS
A blank for forming a box for serving pizza includes panels defined and separated by manufactured lines that, when folded, define a box having a first footprint for enclosing within the box an entire pizza and that, when folded differently with panels having been removed, define a second box having a second footprint for enclosing leftovers of the entire pizza, the second footprint being smaller than the first footprint. The second footprint preferably is approximately one half of the area of the first footprint for accommodating no more than half of the entire pizza.
CONTAINER WITH IMPROVED BREAKDOWN FEATURES
A corrugated cardboard blank for making a collapsible container including one or more panels joined to a bottom panel. The bottom panel is divided into first and second sectional panels on opposing sides of an interface comprising perforated portions extending from a first pair of diagonally opposing corners of the bottom panel. Each perforated portion includes an inner end, wherein the inner ends of the perforated portions are longitudinally spaced from each other. First and second fold lines extend diagonally at least partially between a second pair of diagonally opposing corners of the bottom panel and respective perforated portions. A frangible central portion of the interface extends between the inner ends of the perforated portions, wherein a plurality of unbroken flutes of the corrugated material extend laterally across the central portion of the interface.
BOX AND METHOD OF FOLDING
An exemplary, nonlimiting embodiment of the present disclosure provides a box, as well as a method of use for the box, which may be opened and closed without substantially damaging the structural integrity of the box. The box comprises a segmental lid, which comprises of a first, second, third, and fourth flap. The first and fourth flaps further comprise a first and second pivotable tab, respectfully. The pivotable tabs are pivotally configurable and are preferably configured to be oriented in substantially opposing directions, relative to one another when the first and fourth flap are disposed in the same plane. The pivotable to allow for the flaps to be disposed in a closed position without damaging the box. The method comprises disposing the flaps into their respectively closed positions such that they may be subsequently re-opened without compromising the structural integrity of the box.
SYSTEM FOR TRANSPORTING HOT FOOD
A system for addition to a box for transporting hot food includes a sheet of paper having a fold at a midpoint defining a top sheet and a bottom sheet, the top sheet having a length and a width equal to an interior of the box, such that the top sheet fits within the box without being folded, the bottom sheet having a length and a width longer than the interior of the box, such that when the bottom sheet is placed within the interior of the box, edges of the bottom sheet are configured to extend upwards along sides of the interior of the box, a second fold defining a strip of paper above the top sheet, a food-safe laminate coating on an interior surface of the top and bottom sheets, wherein said coating has heat reflecting characteristics and oil-resistant characteristics, and orifices in the top sheet for allowing moisture to escape therethrough.
BOX AND METHOD OF FOLDING
An exemplary, nonlimiting embodiment of the present disclosure provides a box, as well as a method of use for the box, which may be opened and closed without substantially compromising the structural integrity of the box. The box comprises a base, at least four walls, and a segmental lid. The segmental lid comprises a first, second, third, and fourth flap. The first and fourth flaps further comprise a first and second pivotable tab, respectfully. The pivotable tabs are pivotally configurable and are preferably configured to be oriented in substantially opposing directions, relative to one another when the first and fourth flap are disposed in their respective closed or open positions. The method comprises disposing each of the flaps into their closed positions, respectively, such that the box may be subsequently opened without substantially compromising the structural integrity of the box.
PIZZA BOX AND BLANK
A pizza box for containing a baked pizza is provided. The pizza box is suitable for assuming a box-like configuration and has a base, a lid, side walls, a front wall, a rear wall, and flaps joined to the side walls, the flaps being suitable for being removably constrained by engagement in flap coupling seats on the front wall. At least one flap has a gripping portion which, when the pizza box is in a closed configuration, extends externally, allowing a pulling force to be applied to the gripping portion to disengage the at least one flap from at least one of the flap coupling seats and to bring the pizza box into a laterally open configuration. A blank for producing a pizza box in a single piece is also provided.
