A product dispenser formed from a plurality of blanks of sheet material. The product dispenser includes a storage portion and a base dispenser portion each formed from at least one folded blank of sheet material. The storage portion includes an interior configured to hold a quantity of products therein. The base dispenser portion is coupled to the storage portion, and the base dispenser portion includes a receptacle in selective communication with the interior. An actuating mechanism is configured to translate the storage portion relative to the base dispenser portion. The products are restricted from being dispensed to the receptacle when the storage portion is in a first operating position, and the products are dispensable to the receptacle when the storage portion is in a second operating position.

The present disclosure relates to child-safe packaging. In accordance with aspects and embodiments, a child-safe packaging system is provided comprising a cardstock inner package having an internal cavity dimensioned to hold a product and a cardstock outer sleeve having an open end a closed end, wherein the inner package is sized to frictionally fit within the outer sleeve. To access the inner package, force must be applied to the inner package through an access hole in the outer sleeve. To further safeguard the contents of the inner package, the frictional fit may be enhanced by application of a coating to portions of the inner packaging and outer sleeve, and the inner package may be made shorter than the outer sleeve.

Produce boxes and bags for shipping produce, e.g., bananas, utilize ventilation structures that allow for ventilation therethrough. A method of assembling produce boxes provides for cutouts that serve as ventilation structures in the boxes. When the produce boxes are stacked such as on a shipping pallet, the ventilation structures allow for ventilation of through the stacked boxes. Produce may be packed in a bag, which is closed with a rip cord and inserted into a produce box. The rip cord may be accessed when the box is in a stack such as on a shipping pallet, such that the rip cord may be pulled thereby opening the bag, without removing the box from the stack.

The first transfer assembly is configured to position the first blank on the deck. The machine also includes a second transfer assembly associated with the frame. The second transfer assembly is configured to position the second blank in at least a partially overlying relationship to the first blank on the deck. The machine further includes at least one compression member configured to compress the second blank and the first blank together against the deck to form the joined blank assembly.

The package also comprises a peripheral tray comprising a rear side, a bottom side coupled to a bottom edge of the rear side, and a tongue. A first end of the tongue is coupled to the bottom side. The peripheral tray is positioned within the first interior cavity with a second end of the tongue coupled to the outer shell. An elongated portion of the tongue between the first end and the second end contacts the outer shell and is deflected toward the rear side. The peripheral tray is slidably translatable out of the first interior cavity through the open end so that a portion of the elongated portion moves away from the rear side and the bottom side rotates within the first interior cavity.
