A motor having a rotatable shaft extends toward the opening. A power supply for powering the motor and optional microprocessor, the motor, microprocessor and power supply being supported within the interior of the hollow shell. An attractant is affixed to the rotatable shaft and extends through the shell opening, the microprocessor being programmed to control operation of the motor to cause the attractant to rotate intermittently, the electronic component and attractant being visible to a pet during use of the pet toy.

A foldable carton is provided. The carton includes a bottom panel, a front panel, a rear panel, end panels, each foldably connected to the edges of the bottom panel. The carton further includes front end flap panels connected to the lateral ends of the front panel and rear end flap panels connected to the lateral ends of the rear panel. Each front end flap panel includes a connecting end section and a triangular fold flap connected to the connected end section. The triangular fold flap is connected to a side edge of the adjacent end panel by a hinged fold line. The connecting end section is secured to the front panel in an overlying arrangement and the triangular fold flap is configured to about the hinged fold line to allow the front panel to freely move between a fully upright position and a partially upright position.

A frangible central portion of the interface extends between the inner ends of the perforated portions, wherein a plurality of unbroken flutes of the corrugated material extend laterally across the central portion of the interface.

The carrier is collapsed and expanded by means of an umbrella-type mechanism wherein side flaps connected to side panels and to interior partition panels slide up and down between the handle panels. This positions front, back, side, and bottom panels in either the collapsed position with these panels folded against the handle panels, flattening the carrier for storage, or in the expanded position with these panels pulled away from the handle panels, expanding the carrier to receive articles.
