Shipping containers and methods of reducing packaging waste arising from shipping packaged products are disclosed. A shipping container comprises a body defining a receptacle, the body being formed of a shipping container material. A lid encloses the receptacle and is formed of the shipping container material. At least one surface ornamentation is disposed on at least one of the body and the lid and a product is disposed within the receptacle. The product may not include secondary packaging and the receptacle may not include protective shipping materials. In one example, the shipping container may have a shipping configuration and a display or dispensing configuration. The shipping container may be repurposed as a serving or dispensing bowl.

One container system includes a transparent display, a projector for providing image data on the display, and a floor defining part of a watertight cavity. The display is non-perpendicularly angled from horizontal and has proximal and distal ends. And a closure device is provided for use with a watertight container. The closure device is configured to selectively seal an opening in the watertight container and includes coupling structure (a plug, a flange, and/or threading) for selectively coupling the closure device to the watertight container to seal the opening. The present invention relates to a box of one or more absorbent articles, the box comprising pairs of opposed side walls, pairs of opposed top flaps foldably connected to corresponding side walls, pairs of opposed bottom flaps foldably connected to corresponding side walls, and a weakened area defined by an external weakened line at one of first opposed side walls. The weakened area comprises a first section and a second section divided by an internal weakened line, and an adhesive tape having a tape width and a tape end, and covering adjacent edges of the second opposed top flaps to seal top of the box. The adhesive tape extends along a portion of the one of first opposed side walls in such a way that the adhesive tape covers part of the second section so as not to cover the internal weakened line.

A color coded packing box apparatus for convenient and efficient moving includes a set of sidewalls each having a sidewall top edge and a sidewall bottom edge. The sidewall top edge has a top slit extending into a front sidewall. The sidewall bottom edge has a bottom slit extending into a back sidewall. A top wall is foldably coupled to the sidewall top edge along the back sidewall. A top tab is coupled to the top wall to engage the top slit. A bottom wall is foldably coupled to the sidewall bottom edge along the front sidewall. A bottom tab is coupled to the bottom wall to engage the bottom slit. A container is formed from a blank that has a first side and a second side. The first side can have one or more graphics. The container can include a base portion forming an enclosure and first and second overlap panels that collectively form a cover panel that can enclose the enclosure. Methods of constructing the container include forming the cover panel by securing the first and second overlap panels together.

The present invention is directed to a foldable transport container suitable to receive and hold multiple plates with samples in it. The container is comfortable to load, transport and unload. The invention also relates to a strip of material for providing such a foldable transport container. Finally the invention relates to a method for assembling such a foldable container.

The present disclosure provides a packaging part, a packaging assembly and a chip read write method using the packaging part. A packaging article comprising a wall having an outer surface and an inner surface is disclosed along with methods of forming the packaging article. A first patch consisting essentially of an adhesive and one or more materials that biodegrade within about 6 months include a first seed associated therewith. The first patch is adhered to the inner surface of the packaging article and is removable therefrom without a use of a tool, by a human being. The first seed is configured to remain associated with the first patch after removal of the first patch from the inner surface, and the first seed has at least a 50% likelihood of germinating within thirty days after deployment of the first patch under at least about one inch of soil under climatic and meteorological conditions appropriate for germination of the first seed.

The invention is generally directed to a package for a value item including a removable layer. In some embodiments, the invention includes a greeting card including a value item including a removable layer. In some embodiments, the invention includes a value item packaging system, including a package made from a substrate with colors or patterns printed thereon, and a removable layer disposed on top of, and at least partially obscuring, the colors or patterns, the package at least partially enclosing the item, and a stylus s configured to scrape or scratch away at least a portion of the removable layer thereby showing the colors or patterns printed beneath. Some embodiments may be a packaging system using a box and a lid made from a substrate at least partially covered by a liner, the liner having colors or patterns at least partially obscured by a removable layer; and a stylus.

A kit enabling creation of a personal keepsake by at least one user and methods of using same. A first container is openable by a user, and a plurality of candles are enclosed in the first container. Each candle has a wick at one end and an opposite end having a base width. The kit further includes a second container which is openable by the user, and a plurality of tubes enclosed in the second container. Each tube has at least one end which is initially open and defines a chamber having a chamber width and a chamber length to receive a storage medium, the initially open end adapted to receive the base width of one of the candles.
