Article carrier and blank therefor

Aspects of the disclosure relate to an article carrier for packaging a plurality of flanged articles, a blank for forming the article carrier. The article carrier comprises a plurality of primary panels for forming a tubular structure and defining an interior thereof. The plurality of primary panels includes a first panel and a second panel opposing the first panel. The article carrier further comprises a partition structure for dividing the interior into two or more article-receiving cells. The partition structure is formed from the first panel and comprises a lateral partition panel. The lateral partition panel is hingedly connected at a proximal end to the first panel by a proximal end fold line and is hingedly connected at a distal end to a glue panel by a distal end joint. The distal end joint between the lateral partition panel and the glue panel comprises a twistable strip extending between and joined with the lateral partition panel and the glue panel.

Carton with handle

A carton for holding a plurality of containers. The carton includes a plurality of panels that extends at least partially around an interior of the carton. The carton includes a first end flap foldably connected to a first panel of the plurality of panels and a second end flap foldably connected to a second panel of the plurality of panels. The first end flap and the second end flap form a closed end of the carton. The carton further includes a handle comprising a first handle feature in the first end flap and a second handle feature in the second end flap. The first and second handle features are configured for directing stress and controlling tearing of the carton when force is applied to the handle.

Cartons and blanks with pleats proximate corners, and associated methods

A collapsible box-like container or carton may be formed from a unitary foldable blank divided by fold lines into a bottom panel, a pair of side panels, a pair of end panels and corner sections. Each corner section may include triangular corner or pleat panels divided by a diagonal or oblique fold line. The triangular corner or pleat panels may be folded in intimate face-to-face contact on the outer surface of the adjacent end panels. Some of the triangular corner or pleat panels may be adhesively secured to the outer surface the adjacent end panel.
