Packaging System for a Hot Water Heater
A packaging system for a hot water heater includes an outer box, a top insert, an offset filler, a base insert, and one or more side panels. The top insert contacts a top surface of the hot water heater and a top inside surface of outer box. The offset filler is coupled to the top insert and is sandwiched between the hot water heater and the outer box. The base insert contacts the bottom surface of the hot water heater and a bottom inside surface of the outer box. The base insert includes raised perimeter structures that form a shape that matches a shape of the bottom surface of the hot water heater. The raised perimeter structures and the offset filler position the hot water heater off-center with respect to a center axis of the outer box. Each side panel includes a raised pattern.
DUNNAGE ASSEMBLY
A dunnage assembly for reducing or preventing movement of items during transportation, is provided comprising first and second panels, arranged substantially parallel and aligned. Each of the first and second panels having least one recess and at least one elongate spacer element received in respective recesses of the first and second panels, such that the at least one spacer element holds the first panel apart from the second panel, and wherein a width of the dunnage assembly between respective first and second panels is configurable by choosing a length of the at least one spacer element.
Method of making a preassembled display with automatic stackable supports
A method of making a preassembled display with automatic stackable supports (PDASS) is described. A PDASS may include two or more blanks (for example pieces of corrugated paperboard) that are joined together, for example to initially form a knocked down flat (KDF). The PDASS may include an insert formed from a single blank, where the single insert blank, when the whole display is erected, automatically erects and provides asymmetric supports that form at opposing corners of the outer blank.
Active Materials, Surfaces, Surface Treatments And Methods For Packaging Materials, Boxes, And Containers Using Photosensitizers For Pathogen Reduction
A shipping container having photodynamic pathogen reduction properties. The shipping container include photosensitizers that when exposed to light actively and continuously disinfect their surfaces. Methods of adding or incorporating into or on to photosensitizers to a shipping container.
Multi-laminate folded materials for construction of boxes and other objects
The construction and design of new multi-laminate sheet materials for the fabrication of shipping containers, boxes, furniture, consumer items, and many other products, including those generally using panels in their design, is disclosed. These new materials are produced by employing advanced folding techniques, to yield lightweight, cost effective multi-laminates. At least one layer in the multi-laminate structure is a folded sheet tessellation which, in some embodiments, can have doubly periodic folded geometries with fold creases in multiple non-parallel directions. The various layers of the construction can interlock with each other to collectively provide mechanical stiffness, strength, energy absorption and other properties.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND PACKING STRUCTURE
A packing structure is a packing structure including an electronic device including a device main body, an accommodation bag accommodating the device main body, a shock absorbing member coming into contact with ribs formed at a bottom surface of the device main body via the accommodation bag, and a packing box accommodating the device main body via the accommodation bag and the shock absorbing member, in which the shock absorbing member is corrugated cardboard having cores extending in parallel with one side of a bottom surface of the packing box, and the ribs extend in a direction intersecting a first direction in which the cores extend.
Repulpable corrugated protein box and process for making same using wire side impregnation
A repulpable moisture resistant protein box having a composite structure with a fluted medium, a top backing board secured to one side of the fluted medium and a bottom backing board secured to the other side of the fluted medium. The backing boards are impregnated with a hydrogenated triglyceride on the wire side and the fluted medium is also impregnated with a hydrogenated triglyceride. The backing boards each have an outer felt side surface coated with styrene acrylic co-polymer. The protein boxes have a higher compression, moisture resistance and are recyclable.
PACKAGING INSERTS
A packaging insert comprising a combination of corrugated cardboard and honeycomb paperboard, and packaging assemblies and methods of packaging an item utilizing one or more such packaging insert(s), as shown and described.
Storage case
To improve operability when an object to be stored is taken-out and stored and portability. A main case includes a first bottom-plate, a first side-wall, and a first space. The first side-wall includes four sides including a first side. The first side-wall includes a first side-plate opposite to the first side and is connected with three sides different from the first side. The first space is partitioned by the first bottom-plate and the first side-wall. The cap includes a second bottom-plate, a second side-wall, and a second space. The second side-wall has four sides including a second side. The second side-wall includes a second side-plate opposite to the second side and is connected with three sides different from the second side. The second space is partitioned by the second bottom-plate and the second side-wall and has a volume larger than a volume of the first space. The connection plate is connected with each of the first side and the second side and is foldable to the first bottom-plate and the second bottom-plate. The grip member is attached to the first side-plate and is capable of penetrating into the second side-plate in a closed state in which the first side-wall is housed in the second space.
