A packing device includes: a packing box with an internal space capable of storing a packing target object with a protection target part, and with a packing box inner surface that is at least one inner surface positioned to face the protection target part of the packing target object; and a holding material configured to, when stored in the internal space together with the packing target object, maintain a space between the protection target part and the packing box inner surface by coming into contact with the packing box inner surface and a contact surface of the packing target object facing the packing box inner surface, while staying out of contact with the protection target part of the packing target object.

A separation structure includes a support seat having at least one passage defined transversely therethrough. At least two notches are defined from the top of the support seat. Each notch includes a guide portion and a positioning portion. The guide portion opens through the top of the support seat and narrows toward the root portion of the support seat. The positioning portion communicates with the guide portion. The transmission part of a lock is positioned in the positioning portion of the notch via the guide portion. Two operational ends of the lock are located on two sides of the support seat. A user extends his/her finger through the passage to carry the support seat and the locks. The support seats can be piled up to save space.

The technical solution of the package cushioning material mainly lies in comprising a main body protection portion and a side protection portion, both of the main body protection portion and the side protection portion assuming a U-shaped tube shape, the main body protection portion being connected with the side protection portion via a paper board in a fixed way.

A container for transporting an item is provided having an outer case member erectable from a collapsed configuration to an erected configuration and at least one erectable support member fixedly attached to the outer case member. The support member may include: a first base panel; a second base panel foldably coupled to the first base panel to form a folded, dual-layer structure; a first functional portion foldably coupled to the first base panel and being foldable to form a structure to at least one of partially support or partially secure the item to be transported within the outer case member; and a second functional portion foldably coupled to the second base panel and being foldable to form another structure to at least one of partially support or partially secure the item to be transported within the outer case member. Methods of packaging and transporting an item in a container are also provided.

Each of the locking tabs is engaged with the contact edges of a corresponding one of the folding tabs such that the carrier element is releasably secured to the outer box.
