The container can include a base portion forming an enclosure and first and second overlap panels that collectively form a cover panel that can enclose the enclosure. Methods of constructing the container include forming the cover panel by securing the first and second overlap panels together.

The blank includes a line of weakness pattern configured to allow a user to break the top flaps from a closed configuration enclosing the interior space to an open configuration allowing access to the interior space.

A bottom flap is foldably connected to an edge of the bottom panel on the first end of the blank. A top flap is foldably connected to an edge of the top panel on the first end of the blank. The bottom flap includes a major flap and a minor flap, the major flap connecting between the bottom panel and the minor flap. The top flap includes a catch point feature and wherein the minor flap includes a trap aperture configured to catch the catch point feature of the top flap when opening a container constructed from the blank to provide a tamper evident access feature.

An aspect of the invention provides a carton comprising a plurality of primary panels defining an interior of the carton. The plurality of panels comprises a top panel, a first side panel hinged to one of opposed side edges of the top panel, a second side panel hinged to the other of the side edges of the top panel, an upper end closure flap hinged to the top panel, a first side end closure flap hinged to the first side panel, a second side end closure flap hinged to the second side panel, and a foldable gusset folded into the interior of the carton. The gusset is hinged to the upper end closure flap.
