A reseal label for at least partially covering a pack for consumer goods includes a sheet of polymer material having a pull tab and one or more panels configured to at least partially cover the pack for consumable goods. The reseal label includes resealable adhesive on the pull tab, and permanent adhesive on one or more of the one or more panels to adhere to one or more walls of the pack.

A tray container includes a paper-based material having a number of sides extending from a container bottom. Each side has a proximal end that is contiguous with the container bottom and a distal end that is configured to fold into a bonding surface and a reinforced portion. The bonding surface and the reinforced portion each include two layers of the container material. The method comprises the steps of: producing a blank (100) from a laminate packaging material having an outside heat sealable layer; and treating the outside heat sealable layer in a sub-region (192a, 192b) of at least one of said top-fin panel sections (182a, 182b) reducing or eliminating the heat-sealing capacity of the outside heat sealable layer in the sub-region.
