The present disclosure relates to a package for a delivery system. The package includes a container and a lid hingedly connected to the container about a hinge line, and an inner frame received in the container. The inner frame has a portion that extends from the container which is received in the lid when the lid is closed. The package further includes a raised seal line that is formed on the portion of the inner frame and/or on an inner surface of the lid. The raised seal line is configured to minimize a gap between the portion of the inner frame and the inner surface of the lid when the lid is closed. The present disclosure also relates to a method of manufacturing the package.

A container (400) for consumer goods is provided, the container (400) comprising a box portion (402) and a lid portion (408) depending along a hinge line from a top edge of the box portion (402). An inner frame (300) is slidably received within the box portion (402), the inner frame (300) comprising an inner frame front panel (12), and first and second inner frame side panels (18) each depending along an inner frame side panel fold line (20) from first and second inner frame front panel side edges respectively. Each of the first and second inner frame side panels (18) comprises a back edge spaced apart from the respective inner frame side panel fold line (20). The inner frame (300) further comprises first and second inner frame back panels (26) each depending along a respective inner frame back panel fold line (28) from the first and second inner frame side panels (18) respectively, wherein the first and second inner frame back panels (26) form at least part of an inner frame back wall (302). A distance between each of the inner frame back panel fold lines (28) and the respective inner frame side panel fold line (20) is less than a maximum width of the respective inner frame side panel (18) between the inner frame side panel fold line (20) and the inner frame side panel back edge so that the minimum spacing between the inner frame front panel (12) and the inner frame back wall (302) is less than the maximum width of each inner frame side panel (18). A portion (308) of the inner frame back wall (302) is connected to the lid portion (408) so that, when the lid portion (408) is moved about the hinge line, the inner frame (300) slides within the box portion (402).

A container (10) for consumer goods comprising: an outer housing (12) comprising a box (14) and a lid (16), the lid (16) being hinged to the box (14) along a hinge line extending across a back wall of the outer housing (12); and a package (18) of consumer goods within the box (14). A reclosable sealing cover member(100) occludes an access opening (20) in the package. The reclosable sealing cover member (100) comprises: a base layer (102) comprising a fibrous cellulosic material; a metal-containing layer (104) provided on an outer side of the base layer (102); and a first polymeric layer (106) provided on an inner side of the base layer (102).

A pack for consumer goods includes an outer packaging container and an inner packaging container. The outer packaging container includes a lower box portion with an upper lid portion hingedly connected thereto. The inner packaging container includes a dispensing opening with a resealable closure, a front panel, a back panel, a top panel, a bottom panel, and opposing side panels; each side panel having an inner panel and an outer panel, the inner panel having a first width defining a width of the inner packaging container, and the outer panel including at least a portion having a second width defining flanges having a width greater than the first width. The inner packaging container is insertable within the outer packaging container such that the flanges extending from the back panel of the inner packaging container exert a biasing force on the hinged lid of the outer packaging container to assure lid closure is maintained.

A pack for consumer goods includes an outer packaging container and an inner packaging container. The outer packaging container includes a lower box portion with an upper lid portion hingedly connected thereto. The inner packaging container includes a dispensing opening with a resealable closure, a front panel, a back panel, a top panel, a bottom panel, and opposing side panels; each side panel having an inner panel and an outer panel, the inner panel having a first width defining a width of the inner packaging container, and the outer panel including at least a portion having a second width defining flanges having a width greater than the first width. The inner packaging container is insertable within the outer packaging container such that the flanges extending from the back panel of the inner packaging container exert a biasing force on the hinged lid of the outer packaging container to assure lid closure is maintained.

A container for consumer goods includes an outer housing including a box portion and a hinged lid portion pivotable between open and closed positions, an inner package arranged within the outer housing, the inner package including an access opening, an insert that can be pulled out of the container, including a front panel and at least a first side panel that are connected to each other, and wherein the front panel is arranged between a front wall of the inner package and a front wall of the box portion, and the first side panel is arranged between a first side wall of the inner package and a first side wall of the box portion, and the first side panel includes a first grasp portion that extends above the first side wall of the box portion in a longitudinal direction, when the insert is in a retracted position.

A container for consumer goods includes an outer housing including a box portion and a hinged lid portion pivotable between open and closed positions, an inner package arranged within the outer housing, the inner package including an access opening an insert that can be pulled out of the container, including a front panel and at least a first side panel that are connected to each other, and wherein the front panel is arranged between a front wall of the inner package and a front wall of the box portion, and the first side panel is arranged between a first side wall of the inner package and a first side wall of the box portion, and the first side panel includes a first grasp portion that extends above the first side wall of the box portion in a longitudinal direction, when the insert is in a retracted position.

A container comprises a housing that comprises a box and a lid that is hingedly attached to the box. The lid comprises a bottom edge. The box comprises a front wall and a rear wall. The container also comprises an inner package disposed at least partially within the housing and at least partially defining an interior volume for housing consumer goods. The inner package is configured to open and close when the lid of the housing is opened and closed. The inner package comprises an access opening and a sealing flap. The sealing flap comprises a tab that has a bottom edge. The bottom edge of the tab is positioned below the bottom edge of the lid when the lid is in a closed position.

A package for storing smoking articles includes a body having a plurality of walls defining a volume, including a front wall and a rear wall, and an opening; a lid for closing the opening and having a plurality of walls and being hinged on the rear wall, allowing the lid to be moved between closed and open positions; a locking tab; and an engagement recess for engaging the locking tab when the lid is in the closed position. The locking tab is connected to one of either the front wall of the body or an inner side of a front wall of the lid, and the engagement recess is located on the other one. The locking tab and the engagement recess each have a respective engagement edge for mutual engagement. The engagement edge of at least one of the locking tab and the engagement recess follows a curved line.

A pack for smoking articles including: a container having front, rear, first side and second side panels and curved edges connecting the front, rear, first side and second side panels the container defining a chamber for storing smoking articles and an opening through which smoking articles are removable from the chamber; an inner frame projecting through the opening from within the chamber, the inner frame having a front portion and first and second side portions (230, 250) extending from first and second sides of the front portion to respective free ends (280, 290) of the inner frame, wherein the free ends (280, 290) of the inner frame are spaced apart from the first and second side panels (130, 170) of the container and abut the rear panel of the container; and a lid having front, rear, first side and second side panels and curved edges connecting the front, rear, first side and second side panels of the lid, the lid defining a cavity, where the rear panel of the lid is hinged to the rear panel of the container so that the lid is movable relative to the container between a closed position, at which the lid blocks the opening with the inner frame projecting into the cavity of the lid, and an open position, at which the lid does not block the opening.
