A packaging box is fabricated by bending a corrugated cardboard plate and includes a quadrangular tube-shaped body that is rectangular in cross section and a cover for closing an opening of the body. The first cover plate is connected to a first end edge of one of the pair of first circumferential surface plates on a side near the opening and closes the opening. The second cover plate is connected to a second end edge of the other of the pair of first circumferential surface plates on the side near the opening and is adhered to an outer surface of the first cover plate. The second cover plate is split into an adhesive piece that is adhered to the first cover plate and a peeling piece that has one side connected to the second end edge and is peeled off from the adhesive piece along a breaking line.

The plurality of panels including a support panel, a side panel adjacent the support panel, a back panel adjacent the side panel, another side panel adjacent the back panel, and a front panel adjacent the side panel, wherein adjacent panels are connected with one another. The plurality of upper flaps comprises a side panel flap hingedly connected to the side panel and having an opening configured to receive a dosing cup. A plurality of legs are configured to be erectable from the plurality of lower flaps. A first line of weakness formed in the front panel, wherein the first line of weakness defines a severable portion that is configured to be removable; and a second line of weakness formed in the support panel, wherein the second line of weakness defines a pivotable portion that is configured to be hingedly connected to the bag-in-box container.

A molding apparatus for manufacturing an opening device on a package material, comprises a first mold half and a second mold half arranged opposite the first mold half and having a recess. The first mold half comprises a recess and a displaceable cover element covering partly the recess thereby forming a cavity with an opening within the first mold half, wherein the opening is arranged at least partly opposite the recess of the second mold half.

A shipping container includes a front wall, a rear wall positioned opposite the front wall, and first and second side walls extending between the front and rear walls. The side walls include perforations separating each of the first and second side walls into an upper portion and a lower portion. Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for processing cartons that include steps such as embossing the top opening of cartons for packaging liquid food. Embossing the top opening of cartons may reduce the force required to open the carton in both vertical and horizontal direction and minimize the amount of fibers remaining in the pouring spout after the carton has been opened.
