Reclosure system and the use of such reclosure system
A reclosure system comprising a bottle and a reversible lid. The bottle comprises a bottle neck having an axial extension and a mouth providing access to the interior of the bottle. The bottle neck comprises a circumferential wall portion being provided with a first locking means. A first side of the reversible lid comprises a collar comprising a second locking means configured to selectively allow the reversible lid to sealingly close off the mouth of the bottle neck by the second locking means engaging the first locking means of the bottle neck. A second side of the reversible lid, opposite the first side, comprises a third locking means configured to selectively engage the bottle neck, to define a through-going venting hole in an interface between the reversible lid and the bottle neck, said through-going venting hole allowing a communication between the interior and exterior of the bottle.
Dual-purpose container closure
A dual-access closure for a beverage container has a body with a flexible rim adapted to snap over an upper rim of a beverage container, a sealed, elongated enclosure attached to an underside of the body, a first access element adapted to open and close a first opening passing through the body into the sealed, elongated enclosure, a vapor-producing apparatus within the sealed, elongated enclosure and coupled to the first opening, and a second access element adapted to open and close a second opening passing through the body, outside the sealed, elongated enclosure. With the body engaged to the top of the beverage container, a user is enabled to manipulate the first access interface to draw vapor from the vapor-producing apparatus, and to manipulate the second access element to ingest a beverage from the beverage container.
Quick-release cover for air release valve
The problem of disassembling an air release valve in the field by removing the valve cover to remove the internal working components is solved by a quick release mechanism on the valve cover that can be operated by hand. The quick release mechanism can include a radially tapered groove with tapered parallel tracks that define a slot in the valve cover and a guide on the valve body that engages with the tracks through the slot. The guide can be inserted into a socket in the radially tapered groove and a shoulder piece on the guide can slide on the tapered parallel tracks, which brings the valve cover towards the valve body. An O-ring and a U-cup seal arranged in recesses in the valve body can be compressed by the valve body cover to form airtight seals and the shoulder piece can be lodged in a locking pocket to keep the valve cover in place.
Lid with automatic open and close retention mechanism
A beverage container lid comprising a body having drinking hole and an air hole, and a slide-seal automatic Open and Close retention mechanism that comprises a sealing arm pivotally connected to the body, a movement and position retention linkage structured and operable to move the sealing arm between an Opened and a Closed position, a control mechanism slidingly disposed within the body and operably connected to the movement and position retention linkage such that movement of the control mechanism will control movement of the sealing arm between the Opened and Closed positions, and a biasing device structured and operable to exert constant force on the sealing arm, such that force exerted by the biasing device in combination with the structure and operation of the movement and position retention linkage will selectively retain the sealing arm in the Opened position and in the Closed position.
BEVERAGE CONTAINER AND LID PORTION
A beverage container includes a main body portion for accommodating a beverage and a lid portion provided on the upper portion of the main body portion, the lid portion includes a beverage opening portion (312) for discharging the beverage and a beverage opening and closing portion side sealing material (324) for opening and closing the beverage opening portion (312) from the lower side of the beverage opening portion (312), the lid portion further includes a gas opening portion (313) provided separately from the beverage opening portion (312) and for taking outside air into the main body portion in a case where the beverage accommodated in the main body portion is discharged and a gas opening and closing portion side sealing material (325) for opening and closing the gas opening portion (313) from the lower side of the gas opening portion (313).
Beverage container having a pressure-relief device and a method of manufacturing a beverage container having a pressure-relief device
The present invention relates to a container assembly for accommodating a beverage. The container assembly comprises a collapsible beverage container having a body part for accommodating the beverage and a cylindrical neck part defining a gas-filled headspace. The container assembly further comprises a closure sealing off an opening of the cylindrical neck part. The closure comprises a closure disc, an inner cylindrical part and an outer cylindrical part. The closure disc comprises a beverage outlet for extracting the beverage. The closure further comprises a pressure-relief device located at the closure disc or the inner cylindrical part. The pressure-relief device is capable of establishing a permanent or reclosable opening through the closure or between the closure and the neck part for allowing a flow of fluid from the headspace to an external space when a pressure difference exceeds a predetermined pressure value being lower than the burst pressure of the container.
Containers featuring improved food integrity and takeout experience
A container lid and base assembly includes lid and base stacking features, as well as base chamfers that align with vents provided in the lid. When a plurality of the container assemblies is stacked, the lid and base stacking features nest with each other, while the chamfers align with corresponding vents in the stacked assemblies so that none of the vents is blocked by a next-higher container assembly. The stacking features can be centrally located, and the vents can be peripherally located. A plurality of the container assemblies can have differing sizes and/or shapes, while including mutually compatible stacking features, thereby enabling container assemblies of differing sizes to be stacked without blocking any of the vents thereof. The vents can be holes or “C” vents. The lid and/or base can be manufacturable by thermoforming. The lid and base can be separate, or joined by a hinge.
Dual-Purpose Container Closure
A closure for a beverage container has a body having an attachment interface to engage to a top of a beverage container, a sealed, elongated enclosure attached to an underside of the body, and a single access element adapted to selectively open and close either a first opening passing through the body into the sealed, elongated enclosure or a second opening passing through the body directly to an inner volume of the beverage container.
Package with peelable closure
A package includes a closure and a container. The closure is adapted to mate with a brim of the container to close a top opening arranged to open into an interior product-storage region formed in the container.
Reclosable Cover for a Hollow Object and Method for Making Same
Reclosable cover (100) for a hollow object (200), wherein the cover comprises a base layer (BL), a carrier layer (DL) and an adhesive layer (LL).The base layer has a first base layer cutting line (B1). The carrier layer has a first carrier layer cutting line (D1) at a first distance (d1) from the first base layer cutting line (B1) to provide a first adhesive zone (k1) which is formed to adhere the cover to the hollow object (200).
The base layer has a second base layer cutting line (B2) at a second distance (d2) from the first carrier layer cutting line (D1) to form a closing member (SL).The carrier layer has a second carrier layer cutting line (D2) at a third distance (d3) from the second base layer cutting line (B2) to provide a re-adhesive zone (k2) between the second carrier layer cutting line (D2) and the second base layer cutting line (B2).
