CONTAINER AND LID WITH AUDIBLE AND TACTILE FEEDBACK
A container with a lid includes at least one thread on a neck of the container; at least one thread on the lid; a bump at the lower part of the lid; an end stop on a lower end of the neck; and an engagement portion of the neck corresponding to an area where the bump of the lid will engage the neck when the lid is in a fully engaged position. The engagement portion is arranged such that audible feedback and tactile feedback are produced when the lid moves into a fully engaged position.
Watertight container systems having transparent display
One container system includes a transparent display, a projector for providing image data on the display, and a floor defining part of a watertight cavity. The display is non-perpendicularly angled from horizontal and has proximal and distal ends. And a closure device is provided for use with a watertight container. The closure device is configured to selectively seal an opening in the watertight container and includes coupling structure (a plug, a flange, and/or threading) for selectively coupling the closure device to the watertight container to seal the opening. The closure device further includes non-transitory computer memory, at least one sensor, and a processor in data communication with the memory and the at least one sensor.
Dispensing Closure
A dispensing closure (40) for a fluent substance-containing system, such as a container, includes a body (54) for receiving the fluent substance from the system, a locking member (56) assembled with the body (54), and a pivotable actuator (60) assembled with the locking member (56) and defining a dispensing flow passage (190) for discharging the fluent substance. The locking member (56) is rotatable relative to the body (54) from a locking position to an unlocking position to permit a user to pivot the actuator (60) from a closed position to a dispensing, open position. The body (54) has a pair of abutments (110) that extend through the locking member (56) in the locking position to prevent the actuator (60) from moving into the open position. In the unlocking position of the locking member (56), the actuator (60) is not prevented by the abutments (110) from moving into the open position.
Preservation System
A method and device for preserving wine or other oxygen sensitive items is disclosed. In some embodiments, the device has a housing, a pressure indicator, a pressure sensor, and a one-way valve. The housing is configured to seal an opening of a wine bottle. The housing has a closure side configured to be in communication with an interior of the wine bottle. The housing has an input channel extending through the housing. The pressure sensor is within the housing and is in communication with the closure side. The one-way valve is in the input channel. The pressure sensor is configured to move the pressure indicator to an indicating position when a predetermined amount of pressure is reached at the sensor.
Degradable containment features
A degradable containment includes an outer structural layer constructed of a pulp material, a central carrier layer constructed of a biopolymer, and an interior nanomaterial layer constructed of a nanomaterial.
DEVICE FOR REMINDING AND MEASURING MATERIAL LEVEL INSIDE A MATERIAL CONTAINER
A device to measure the material level inside the container includes a housing unit removably attachable to a cap of a container for holding a beverage, wherein the housing unit is configured to remain attached to the cap when the cap is at least partially removed from the container. The device further includes, a signal producing unit located in the housing unit, a first sensor located in the housing unit to sense a beverage level in the container and a controller located in the housing unit. The controller is configured to receive from the first sensor an indication of a beverage level in the container and activate the signal producing unit based at least on the indication of the beverage level in the container.
Multisensory examination jar for botanical specimens
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide for a multisensory examination jar for botanical specimens. Embodiments of the disclosed jar may have a body portion with an integrated LED array for illuminating the contents of the jar. The jar may have a removable lid with an integrated magnifying lens, and an opening or port to enable a user to smell the contents of the jar. The opening may have a removable plug to establish a substantially air tight seal on the lid of the jar, to trap odors within the jar. The removable plug can be selectively removed to enable the user to smell the contents of the jar. The jar may have an electronics module and power source operable for wireless charging. The jar may also be configured to interface with a charging dock or base for wireless charging of integrated batteries.
RE-SEALING VACUUM PACKAGE RECEPTACLE
A resealable, vacuum packable receptacle has a container, a sealing layer, an inner lid, and an outer lid. When (i) the outer lid opening receives the inner lid, (ii) the inner lid is threadably mated with the container, and (iii) the container has the sealing layer positioned over the container's mouth; (A) a portion of the outer lid causes the outer lid or the inner lid to contact the sealing layer to push a desired amount of air from the container which then results in inhibiting air from entering or exiting the container, or (B) the distance between the outer lid's top surface and the inner lid's top surface can be altered, and when the distance is increased, the air pressure in the container is decreased.
Child resistant container having an audio device
A container having a child resistant lock and an audio device has a bottom, an outer wall, and a neck extending upward from its top. The neck has one or more slots formed by a vertical channel and a slanted channel leading to a seat. The slanted channel has two opposing protuberances where it joins the seat. A lid has a cuff configured to fit over the neck. The inside wall of the cuff has one or more pins complementary to the one or more channels which together form bayonet lock mechanisms. And gasket at the inside top of the cuff seals the container when the bayonet lock mechanisms are engaged and provide an upward bias to the cuff, thereby securing it in place. The outer wall of the cuff and outer wall of the canister lie flush with each other when the bayonet lock mechanisms are engaged. The top of the lid has a removable screen covering a compartment in the lid which houses an audio device. A plurality of apertures in the plate allow sound to emit from the music box.
System and device for supporting a candle on a drink cup
The invention involves a device and system for securing a candle to a drink cup for celebrations. The system includes a cover that secures across the top surface of the drink cup. A center portion of the cover is provided with a depression sized and shaped to cooperate with a small candle base to secure the candle in an upright position with respect to the longitudinal centerline of the drink cup. Once the candle has been blown out by the recipient, the cover can be removed from the drink cup to allow the person to consume the beverage contained within the cup.
