Device and method for the preparation and oral administration of a liquid composition
The invention concerns a device and a method for the preparation of a liquid composition for oral administration of a liquid composition formed by a liquid component and a component in powder form, for the treatment of persons affected by metabolic disorders, in particular appropriately selecting the compounds to be added to the drink according to the specific metabolic disorder.
Dispenser
In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful to dispensers. In some embodiments, a dispenser comprises a main body assembly including an outer wall and an inner wall, the inner wall defining an aperture through the main body, a seal, wherein the seal is affixed to the main body and encloses a lower portion of the aperture, a button seated within the aperture and configured to be manipulable between a first position and a second position, and a container housed within the button and configured to store a material, wherein when the button is in the second position the container contacts the seal to allow the material to exit the dispenser.
DISPENSING CLOSURE, METHOD OF USING AND MAKING THE SAME
The present invention generally relates to a dispensing closure, method of using and making the same that can be filled with a material to be dispensed into a container and more particularly to a dispensing bottle cap that can be operated so the material inside would dispense into the container for mixing with liquid in the container while the container remains sealed. The Bottle cap then can be removed as one unit to open the container.
INJECTION OF SUPPLEMENTS INTO DRINKS
Aspects and embodiments injection of supplements into drinks are described. In one embodiment, a cap includes a top of the cap having a button. A container is sealed using a sealing layer between the container and the top. A pushing element is in connection with a bottom surface of the button and further in connection with a top surface of the sealing layer. A breaking mechanism is sealed within the container along with a supplement. The breaking mechanism has breaking bars that extend from a central column that is aligned with the pushing element. When the button is depressed, the breaking mechanism breaks a bottom of the container to release at least some of the supplement.
Blister package for contact lens
A blister package for a contact lens is provided. A deformable slider supporting a lens is movable via pull-tab or hinge to lift the contact lens out of a lens well. The deformable slider can include a hinge connected to a flexible peel-away top of the blister package or connected to a pull tab that can be pulled to pull taut the deformable slider. A blister package is also provided that includes a hinged shell having a lateral opening opposite the hinge, and a deformable slider that is folded over onto itself and seals both a top chamber and a bottom chamber. By pulling a tongue of the deformable slider, which extends from the lateral opening, the deformable slider can be removed from the closed shell and the closed shell can be opened enabling access to the contact lens.
Container lid with functional additive chambers
A joint compound assembly is provided, including a main container with a base joint compound, and a container lid constructed and arranged for closing the main container, and having at least one sealed compartment enclosing a joint compound additive.
BOTTLE CAP DESIGN WITH PRESSURIZED RELEASE
A bottle cap is disclosed, which includes a top portion, comprising a hingeable lid, a middle portion, comprising a reservoir for retaining a material, and a bottom portion, which is surrounded by a threading that further comprises a means for attaching to a bottle. The top portion of the bottle cap further comprises a depressible button for exerting pressure in said reservoir, wherein said reservoir further contains a means for releasing said material into said bottle upon the exertion of pressure from said depressible button.
DOSING AND ADMINISTRATION SYSTEM FOR DRUG COMBINATIONS
The present invention provides a cartridge for the preparation of a liquid pharmaceutical or nutraceutical formulation, the cartridge being adapted for insertion into a mixing vessel and for dispensing at least three flowable pharmaceutical or nutraceutical compositions into said mixing vessel, the cartridge comprising a container portion, a cover portion and an opening means, or more specifically an opening means of the container portion, for opening the cartridge, preferably after its insertion into the mixing vessel, wherein the container portion comprises a container wall and a container base, the container wall and the container base defining an inner lumen and an opening of the container portion, the opening being positioned opposite to the container base, and a segmenting structure located in the inner lumen of the container portion and being physically connected to the container wall and/or to the container base such as to divide the inner lumen of the container portion into at least three segments containing the at least three flowable pharmaceutical or nutraceutical compositions.
Metering Device Made of Plastics Material
The metering device includes a metering container which can be fitted with screwing action on a standard bottle neck. The metering container has a funnel-shaped base, which is adjoined by a cylindrical lateral wall having, at the upper end, a cross-sectionally u-shaped collar, to which a cover surface can be applied in a form-fitting manner. At the top of the metering device is a pressure-exerting head with an encircling, detachable periphery. A puncturing mechanism having a two-part pressure-exerting pin can be actuated by the pressure-exerting head. The puncturing mechanism is fixed to the cover surface, prior to initial use, and is separated out of the cover surface by a cylindrical casing wall on the pressure-exerting head. The second part of the puncturing mechanism has a punching sleeve, which severs membranes which close the metering container, whereupon the contents of the metering container can be supplied into the bottle.
A CAP INCLUDING A SECTION DELIMITED BY A DIVIDING WALL, WHICH CAN BE TORN, IF NECESSARY, BY MEANS INCLUDED IN THE CAP
Disclosed is a cap including a cavity delimited by a cylindrical side wall and by a discoidal base at a first end of the cap. The latter further includes a circular opening for accessing the cavity, obtained at a second end of the cap opposite the first end. A discoidal dividing wall is housed in the cavity of the cap between the base and the opening. The dividing wall is connected to the side wall along its circular edge to delimit, with the base and a portion of the side wall, a section inside the cap. A tongue protruding outside the cap penetrates the latter through the side wall connects to the dividing wall at an end inside the cap. Applying force to the tongue tending to remove it from the cap tears the dividing wall, opening the section and allowing the enclosed substance to exit the cap.
