Resealable Pouring Element for Cardboard/Plastic Composite Packages With an Anchor Ring for Securely Fastening Screw Cap

Represented and described is a resealable pouring element for cardboard/plastic composite packages, in particular beverage packages, with a base element with a circumferential fastening flange as well as an external thread, with opening means arranged at least in the unopened state of the pouring element in the interior of the base element and with a screw cap with internal thread. The opening means are designed such that when the composite package is initially opened by unscrewing the screw cap by breaking the composite material of the package or a barrier layer located in the base element, a pour opening is created inside the pouring element. In order to ensure a fastening of the screw cap to the pouring element in such a resealable pouring element, even in the unscrewed stale, it is provided that an anchor ring is arranged below the screw cap, is connected thereto in a rotationally-fixed manner and is connected to the base element so as to be radially freely rotatable around the base element and in a tension-resistant manner in the axial direction and in that, to securely fasten the screw cap to the base element, even in the unscrewed state, the anchor ring is connected to the screw cap a hinged manner via a hinge element, whose pivot axis is aligned tangentially to the outer circumference of the screw cap.

CLOSURE

A flip-top dispensing closure is provided. The closure includes a base and a lid. The base is attachable to a container neck and includes an integral spout. The lid includes a fixing ring and a cap. The fixing ring is attachable to the base and the cap is hingedly attached to the ring. The closure is provided with tamper-evident parts including first and second parts which are initially frangibly connected to each other within the lid, and upon first opening of the cap, the first and second parts are separated, one of the parts being retained by the cap and the other of the parts dropping onto the base.

A tamper evident label is provided. The tamper evident label broadly includes a base ply of pressure-sensitive material and a top ply of pressure-sensitive material. The base ply and the top ply are laminated together to form the tamper evident label The base ply includes a first portion and a second portion. The second portion of the base ply includes internal cuts and deadened adhesive. The top ply includes a tab portion defined by tab cuts. The tab portion of the top ply and the region between the internal cuts of the base ply are configured to be removed from the tamper evident label to create visual evidence of tampering. Further, a method of constructing a tamper evident label and a method of using a tamper evident label are provided.

A single-piece flip-top dispensing closure (10) is provided. The closure comprises a base (15) and a lid (20) joined by a hinge (25). The base is attachable to a container neck and includes an integral spout (45). A tamper-evident member is frangibly connected to the lid. The tamper-evident member includes a hook (85). The base is provided with a raised crossbar (550) under which the hook engages with the closure in an initially closed condition. When the lid is initially opened the interaction between the crossbar and the hook causes the tamper-evident member to release from the lid.

TAMPER-PROOF CONTAINER

The present invention relates to a tamper-proof container comprising a container, a cap, and a tamper evidence mechanism, including a female component, a male component, and a locking member. The container to hold contents includes a top portion, a bottom portion, and a wall portion with a cap attached to the top portion of the container. The cap includes an inner portion with orifice and a lid pivotally connected to the inner portion via a hinge for opening and closing the tamper-proof container. The cap further includes a sloped portion at its front region which has a smooth surface for applying the contents directly to the desired area. After contents is filled in the container, the lid is closed for the first time, and the tamper evidence mechanism is secured by locking the male component in the corresponding female component with the locking member provided over the male component.

RECLOSABLE PLASTIC CONTAINER WITH READILY APPARENT TAMPER EVIDENT FEATURE

A container includes a lid and base having flanges that are initially attached to each other by engagement of attachment regions of fixed and frangible engagement mechanisms provided in the flanges. Each of the frangible engagement mechanisms is frangibly detachable from its flange, and includes at least one wing extending from its attachment region. During a first opening of the container, the attachment regions initially remain fixed together, while the wings are bent at an oblique angle from the plane of the flanges. Upon reclosure of the container, the wings remain obliquely bent, and provide a readily apparent tamper indication. Wing hinges can be included between the wings and attachment regions to enhance the wing bending during initial opening. The lid and base can be separate, or can be attached to each other by a hinge, such as a living hinge or a scored hinge.

CLOSURE DEVICE

The present invention relates to a closure device (1) for a container (2) in which a flowable material (3) is stored, comprising a base element (4), which can be fastened on a container opening (5) of the container (2), a spout (11) with a dispensing opening (7), whereby the spout (11) is positioned inboard of the base element (4), and a lid (8) connected to the base element (4) by a hinge (12), whereby the lid (8) can be moved back and forth between a closed position (9) in which the lid (8) closes the dispensing opening (7) so that the spout (11) is not accessible and an open position (10) in which the spout (11) is accessible, tamper evidence indication means (13) for visually indicating if the lid (8) of the closure device (1) has once been moved out of its closed position (9), whereby the tamper evidence indication means (13) comprise a first indication ring (14) and at least a second indication ring (15) which is co-axially arranged in the first indication ring (14).

Tamper-resistant and tamper-evident containers

A transparent, plastic, one-piece, tamper-resistant/evident container includes a cover portion including an outwardly extending peripheral flange and a base portion having an upper peripheral rim. A tamper-evident hinge joins the cover portion with the base portion. The hinge includes a frangible section. When the container is closed, the outwardly extending peripheral flange of the cover portion abuts the upper peripheral rim of the base portion and the upper peripheral rim of the base portion extends beyond an outer edge of the outwardly extending peripheral flange of the cover portion and deters opening the container.

Cap assembly

A cap assembly for closing an opening in a vessel may include a stopper and a rigid cap adapted to fit over the stopper and onto a vessel.
