A retail display card holds a product such as a flashlight in a tilted or skewed orientation with respect to the general plane of the top and bottom surfaces of the display card. In this manner, substantially the entire front lens of the flashlight is held above the plane of the card and substantially the entire rear on-off switch of the flashlight is held below the plane of the card. This allows a potential purchaser to easily access the on-off switch and view a substantially unobstructed beam of light produced by the flashlight.

ARTICLE TOP ENGAGING DEVICE, ARTICLE CARRIER AND BLANK THEREFOR

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to an article top engaging device, a carrier for packaging one or more articles and a blank for forming the carrier. The article top engaging device comprises an engaging panel (12; 112; 212; 312; 412; 512; 612; 712) having at least one top-receiving opening (A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8) defined by a perimeter which defines a notional circle (NC). The perimeter is interrupted by at least three relief elements (C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C6, C7, C8, C9, C10, C11) each extending radially away of the center of the notional circle. The perimeter comprises a toothed segment (S1) and a toothless segment (S2). The toothed segment comprises at least two tooth edges (31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36; 231, 232, 233, 234, 235, 236) for bearing a substantially vertical load.

Security packaging

A security packaging provides a structure for providing evidence of package tampering. The packaging includes a first panel having an opening, and a foil label at least partially overlaying the opening and at least partially adhered to an insert member. Upon separation of the insert member from the packaging, at least a portion of the foil label is separated from the foil label thereby leaving a visual void in the opening indicating that the separation has occurred.

A latching holder for storing a plurality of fasteners includes a support member having a first panel, a second panel, a longitudinal slit and a longitudinal portion therebetween for enabling the first and second panels to fold toward one another. One of the first and second panels of the support member has a plurality of holes having a central aperture and wavy slots extending radially outwardly therefrom. The other of the first and second panels contacts the fasteners in a folded position for retaining the fasteners within the latching holder. Each of the first and second panels has an integrally formed latch for securing the first and second panels together to provide additional retainment of the plurality of fasteners within the latching holder. The integration of the latches and the panels with the holder provides a one piece holder without adding additional components for securely storing the plurality of fasteners.

ARTICLE CARRIERS AND BLANKS THEREFOR

Aspects of the disclosure relate to article carriers (90; 190) for forming a package and blanks (10; 110) for forming the article carriers (90; 190). The blank (10; 110) comprises at least one panel (12; 112) having at least one article engaging structure (RT1, RT2). The at least one article engaging structure (RT1, RT2) comprises an article receiving aperture (AP1, AP2) and an annular series of tabs (14, 30; 114, 114 A) formed around the article receiving aperture (AP1, AP2). The annular series of tabs (14, 30; 114, 114A) is defined at least in part by plurality of radial cut lines (15, 31; 115, 131). The annular series of tabs (14, 30; 114, 114A) is defined at least in part by plurality of circumferential cut lines (9, 11; 109, 111). At least a first one (31, 131) of the radial cut lines extends to a corresponding circumferential cut line (9, 109) and at least a second one (15; 115) of the radial cut lines stops short of a respective circumferential cut line (9, 109).

Bookbinding apparatus

A bookbinding apparatus includes a sheet aligning unit which stacks and aligns plural sheets having holes formed therein, a binding mechanism which binds the sheets aligned in the sheet aligning unit by conveying a binding component in an axial direction while rotating the binding component in a circumferential direction, a binding component storing unit which stores therein plural binding components; a binding component conveyance path which conveys the binding component from the binding component storing unit to the binding mechanism. The binding component conveyance path forms a curved conveyance path for conveying the binding component with being curved with respect to the axial direction to an end portion of a side of the aligned sheets at which the binding mechanism starts inserting the binding component, at a position that is distant from the end portion by a distance smaller than a length of one binding component.

Hang Tag

A product display package for an object includes a display portion and a retaining portion. The display portion includes a frame structure with at least one opening that provides a view of the object when disposed in the product display package. The retaining portion includes a first retaining part and a second retaining part. The first retaining part includes a first holding portion with a first set of ribs configured to engage the object. The first set of ribs is angled with respect to a longitudinal axis of the product display package. The second retaining part is configured to mate with the first retaining part such that the second retaining part is secured to the first retaining part. The second retaining part includes a second holding portion with a second set of ribs configured to engage the object.

Tape holding information cards and blister and an information card for use with such tape

A tape for holding an information card (5) holding a blister (1) having a cavity for holding an item, where a hole (7) in the information card allows affixing of the blister such that the cavity of the blister remains accessible for instance by inserting the cavity of the blister in the hole so it protrudes through the information card. By affixing the information cards in a repetitive pattern along the tape (20) the assembled tape can be folded and individual blisters are no longer lost. An edge (6) for severing the tape allows the removal of a single information card-blister assembly from the assembled tape. Separating the information cards on the tape allows room for folding the tape. Ensuring that the holes cut in the tape do not overlap allows the distance between the information cards along the tape to be reduced and result in an efficient stacking of the blisters when the tape is folded.
