PRODUCE TRAYS AND RELATED METHODS
A produce tray assembly includes a plurality of produce trays and a box. Each produce tray includes a plurality of bases, a plurality of inner and outer sidewalls, a lip, and a handle. The sidewalls extending from the bases. The sidewalls define cavities sized and configured to receive produce. The lip extends from the outer sidewalls. The lip includes a planar surface. The box is configured to hold a first amount of produce trays in response to the of produce trays being oriented in a horizontal position where the planar surface extends horizontally. The box is configured to hold a second amount of produce trays in response to the produce trays being oriented in a vertical position where the planar surface extends vertically. The second amount of the produce trays is greater than the first amount of produce trays.
Package for a computer peripheral device
In some embodiments, a package for a computer peripheral device comprises an outer shell defining a first interior cavity and an open end. The package also comprises a peripheral tray comprising a rear side, a bottom side coupled to a bottom edge of the rear side, and a tongue. A first end of the tongue is coupled to the bottom side. The peripheral tray is positioned within the first interior cavity with a second end of the tongue coupled to the outer shell. An elongated portion of the tongue between the first end and the second end contacts the outer shell and is deflected toward the rear side. The peripheral tray is slidably translatable out of the first interior cavity through the open end so that a portion of the elongated portion moves away from the rear side and the bottom side rotates within the first interior cavity.
TWO-PART RFID TAGS FOR INCORPORATION INTO MICROWAVABLE FOOD PACKAGING
RFID tags are provided for incorporation into the packaging of a microwavable food item. The packaging includes a first member (e.g., a tray) that is configured to be microwaved and a second member (e.g., a sleeve or box or enclosure) that is configured to be dissociated from the first member prior to microwaving the first member. The RFID tag includes a reactive strap associated with the first member and a far-field antenna associated with the second member. The reactive strap is coupled to the antenna when the packaging is intact, while being decoupled from the antenna when the second member has been dissociated from the first member. The RFID tag is capable of far-field communication when the reactive strap is coupled to the antenna, while the reactive strap is capable of only near-field communication when decoupled from the antenna.
CONTAINER HAVING OUTER SLEEVE AND INNER TRAY WITH LOCKING MECHANISM
A container (1) for consumer goods, the container comprises an outer sleeve (20) and inner tray (10) disposed within the outer sleeve (20), and configured to slide within the outer sleeve (20) between: a first position, in which the interior of the inner tray (10) cannot be accessed by a user; and a second position, in which the interior of the inner tray (10) can be accessed by a user. The container (1) has a locking mechanism for preventing the inner tray (10) from sliding with respect to the outer sleeve from the first position to the second position, when the inner tray (10) is in the first position in the outer sleeve (20).
PRODUCT PACKAGING WITH INTERNAL LIGHTING ASSEMBLY
A product package or packaging is configured such that: (i) the product(s) are obscured from a potential buyer's view when the product package 10 is in a closed position and (ii) the product(s) becomes visible to the potential buyer when an extent of the product package is in a partially opened position. Once the product(s) becomes visible to the potential buyer, an illumination assembly illuminates the product(s). This selective illumination of the product(s) permits: (i) the illumination assembly to be battery powered, (ii) highlights features and attributes of the product(s) in order to attract and keep the potential buyer's attention, and (iii) makes it easier to see the product(s) within the product package, which helps prevent potential buyers from removing the product(s) from the package thereby reducing the chance that the product is inadvertently damaged.
PACKAGE FOR FOOD AND RELATED METHOD OF PACKAGING
A food package having a heat-sealed cover composed of a lower plastic film and an upper plastic film which is distinct and separate from the lower plastic film is disclosed. The upper and lower films are collapsible, i.e., they can be creased and crumpled into a ball without effort or folded as a tissue paper. The lower film and upper film are heat-sealed to each other at respective perimeter edges to define a closed, watertight internal housing filled with a modified atmosphere. A tray, configured to house the food product, is inserted in the closed internal housing but is not fixed to the upper or lower film. The food packaging described herein allows a substantial reduction of plastic compared to those currently on the market, while guaranteeing its mechanical rigidity, and the long-term quality of the product. A method for producing the packaging is also disclosed.
INTEGRAL CARTON AND TRAY ARRANGEMENTS
A lidding device (102) includes a first panel (104) comprising a lid (106) configured to cover and seal a food container (108). A second panel (110) is foldably connected to the first panel. A third panel (112) includes a bottom panel opposite the lid, wherein the second panel is foldably connected to the first panel and the third panel. A fourth panel (114) is foldably connected to at least one of the first panel and the third panel, wherein the fourth panel and second panel are configured to at least partially enclose a food container between the second and fourth panels.
DISPLAY PACKAGES, BLANKS FOR FORMING THE DISPLAY PACKAGE AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A display package according to example embodiments includes an outer structure defining a back panel, side panels, a top panel and a bottom panel of the display package, an inner structure defining a front panel of the display package, the inner structure being interlocked with the outer structure, and a tray between the interlocked inner and outer structures. The tray is configured to hold at least one item. The inner structure is inwardly bent against the tray. A top panel flap of the inner structure is between the top panel of the display package and the tray.
Packing device
A packing device includes: a packing box with an internal space capable of storing a packing target object with a protection target part, and with a packing box inner surface that is at least one inner surface positioned to face the protection target part of the packing target object; and a holding material configured to, when stored in the internal space together with the packing target object, maintain a space between the protection target part and the packing box inner surface by coming into contact with the packing box inner surface and a contact surface of the packing target object facing the packing box inner surface, while staying out of contact with the protection target part of the packing target object.
RETAIL PRODUCT PACKAGE
A retail product package is disclosed. The package comprises an outer sleeve and an inner tray that is configured to slide in and out of the sleeve. The sleeve and tray being constructed and configured to be magnetically attracted to one another to facilitate and maintain a closed packaging configuration. Windows on the sleeve and tray allow for inspection of the product contained therein, which is mounted via a support element in a fixed position removed from contact from the packaging walls. A hook component is provided on the tray that is configured to extend through a top end wall of the sleeve and facilitate display of the package on a peg in a retail display stand.
