OPTIMIZED SYSTEM, BOX AND BAG FOR PACKING, SHIPPING, STORING AND DISPLAYING PRODUCE
Produce boxes and bags for shipping produce, e.g., bananas, utilize ventilation structures that allow for ventilation therethrough. A method of assembling produce boxes provides for cutouts that serve as ventilation structures in the boxes. When the produce boxes are stacked such as on a shipping pallet, the ventilation structures allow for ventilation of through the stacked boxes. Produce may be packed in a bag, which is closed with a rip cord and inserted into a produce box. The rip cord may be accessed when the box is in a stack such as on a shipping pallet, such that the rip cord may be pulled thereby opening the bag, without removing the box from the stack.
Granular food items packaging system
A packaging system for packaging granular food items for shipment includes a plurality of granular food item bags, each granular food item bag having a side surface. A folder has at least one crease with a first half having a first inner surface on one side of the crease and a second half having a second inner surface on an opposing side of the at least one crease. The side surface of each granular food item bag is attached to the first inner surface of the first half of the folder and the granular food item bags are arranged in and N×M array on the first inner surface of the first half of the folder. The folder is then folded along the at least one crease so the second inner surface of the second half of the folder is folded over the granular food item bags attached to the first inner surface.
Bonding label
A web of labels includes a face stock and a release liner. A top side adhesive layer extends on a top surface of the face stock and a top side release liner extends over the top side adhesive layer. The top side release liner includes at least one aperture exposing a corresponding portion of the top side adhesive layer. The face stock has a second adhesive layer on a bottom surface of the face stock. The release liner has a second release layer on a top surface thereof to protect the second adhesive layer, and a third release layer on a bottom surface of the release liner. The face stock is separated into a succession of labels carried on the release liner such that each label includes a portion of the top side release liner having at least one aperture.
WIRE CONTAINER
A wire container has a bottom plate, a top plate, and a plurality of vertically extending posts. The posts are releasably connected to both the bottom plate and the top plate. The bottom plate, the top plate and the posts are formed from metal.
Bag-in-box film for packaging refrigerated liquids
Multi-layer films for making bags for containing flowable materials, in particular to large bags for dairy products. The multi-layer films have an outer and an inner sealant layer and a core layer and optionally, an interposed layer positioned between the outer sealant layer and the core layer and between the core layer and the inner sealant layer. The outer and inner sealant layers contain an ethylene/α-olefin interpolymer composition and the intermediate layer optionally contains this interpolymer composition.
Packaging System for Storing Agricultural Biomass
A flexible packaging system for containing, storing, preserving, and transporting agricultural biomass, such as cannabis or hemp, including an outer shell and an inner liner nested within the outer shell. The inner liner is made of a liquid and gas impermeable material, in which the inner liner defines an interior space and includes a fillable opening through which the biomass is loaded and also includes a two-way sealable spring valve, which allows the controlled passage of gases into and/or out of the interior space, allowing the biomass contained therein to be surrounded only by inert gas, such as nitrogen for up to several months. Containing biomass within the disclosed flexible packaging system maintains the moisture content of the biomass and also prevents the cannabinoid levels from degrading over time.
Blank used for making a container with interlocking flaps and a handle
A blank used for making a container is disclosed. The blank comprises a first primary panel, a second primary panel, and a secondary panel. The first primary panel is hingedly coupled to a first primary flap. The second primary panel is hingedly coupled to a second primary flap. The secondary panel is hingedly coupled to a secondary flap. The first primary flap comprises a main portion and a tip portion. The main portion is hingedly coupled to a first handle. The tip portion is positioned between the main portion and the first handle. The secondary flap is configured to be positioned between the second primary flap and the main portion when the container is in a box configuration. The tip portion is configured to be positioned between the second primary flap and an interior space of the container when the container is in the box configuration.
BAG AND BOX APPARATUS WITH FARADAY BAG AND SELF-CLOSING RF-TIGHT DEVICE PASSAGE FOR RECOVERING, TEMPORARILY STORING, AND THEN RETURNING FREIGHT-TRACKING TRANSMITTERS
A soft- or hard-sided apparatus for temporarily storing a plurality of electronic devices that transmit electromagnetic signals that would, if not suppressed, interfere with other electronic devices or make the devices accessible to outsiders. The apparatus includes a container, such as a soft-sided bag, that is sized for holding the plurality of electronic devices and is specially adapted to be normally RF-tight to suppress the electromagnetic signals transmitted by the plurality of electronic devices to prevent them from interfering with other electronic devices. The container further includes a small opening assembly in the container that opens and closes, such as a trap door, outfitted with magnets. The first small opening assembly is adapted to be RF-tight when closed so that a user can push an electronic device through the assembly, into the container, after which all the electronic devices are silenced inside of the container. The container further includes a second larger opening assembly to allow removal of all of the electronic devices as a group. The soft-sided container can be located in a cardboard shipping box, ready to be emptied nearby or returned to a third-party when full so that the devices can be refurbished and re-used.
The side surface of each granular food item bag is attached to the first inner surface of the first half of the folder and the granular food item bags are arranged in and NxM array on the first inner surface of the first half of the folder. The folder is then folded along the at least one crease so the second inner surface of the second half of the folder is folded over the granular food item bags attached to the first inner surface.
BAG-IN-BOX FILM FORM PACKAGING REFRIGERATED LIQUIDS
Multi-layer films for making bags for containing flowable materials, in particular to large bags for dairy products.
