Cartridge and method for testing a sample
A cartridge and a method for testing a biological sample are provided, wherein the cartridge is filled, in an open packaging, with the sample to be tested, and wherein the packaging holds and/or supports the cartridge in a latching manner in an open state.
CLOSURE MEMBER FOR A FOOD CONTAINER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING OF SAID CLOSURE MEMBER
A closure member for a food container comprises a multilayer laminate peripherally delimited by its peripheral edge having a predetermined shape suitable for covering an opening of a corresponding container and defining at least one hand gripping portion for a user. The multilayer laminate is provided with a first layer of material, preferably at least partly light permeable, a second layer of preferably plastic material, a third layer of repositionable adhesive material interposed between the first and the second layer and at least one anti-adhesive strip interposed between the first and second layer and placed near the hand gripping portion.
Ink container and image forming apparatus
The ink container includes an ink pack, a paper case and a cover. The ink pack is configured to store ink. The paper case is configured to store the ink pack and to have a shape elongated in one direction. The cover is bonded to an end portion in the one direction of the case. A protection rib is protruded on an outer circumferential face of the cover. The protection rib covers, from an outside in the one direction, a bonded portion of the end portion of the case and the cover.

Closure for a container, closure components, and method of use thereof
A closure body (40) is provided for installation with a liner membrane (52) on a container (44). The closure body (40) has a peripheral portion (74) for being mounted on the container (44) around an access opening (48), and a separable portion (82) that (i) is disposed laterally inwardly of the peripheral portion (74); (ii) is initially connected to the peripheral portion (74) by at least one frangible connection (86); and (iii) can be separated from the peripheral portion (74) upon breaking of the at least one frangible connection (86). The closure body (40) has an opening member (94) that is connected with the separable portion (82) to accommodate movement of the opening member (94) relative to the separable portion (82). The opening member (94) has a grippable portion (102) and a puncture portion (106) each disposed in an initial inactive orientation relative to the separable portion (74).
Snap close peel reseal package
A package for the storage of food or other suitable products includes a tray and, optionally, a lidding film. The tray is thermoformed, molded, or otherwise shaped to provide a recessed portion and flange, the recessed portion defining a product-receiving cavity. The flange includes a frame portion surrounding the cavity and a margin portion disposed alongside the frame portion and, in some embodiments, extending substantially a full width of the tray. The optional lidding film attaches to both the frame and margin portions and typically seals the cavity. The margin portion and a side wall of the recessed portion may include locking features to allow the margin portion to snap close against the side wall. The package may then be made to stand on end with the margin portion acting as a base. The lidding film may include a peelable/sealable film to allow repeated access to the product while sealing the cavity between uses.
Resealable package film
A package film is provided for attaching to a base member to define a package. The package film construction includes a top layer having a top surface and a bottom surface. A removable adhesive is provided having a defined pattern applied below the bottom surface. A polyethylene (PE) emulsion layer is provide that covers at least a portion of the adhesive pattern, with the PE emulsion layer being heat sealable to the base member.
Container Closure with Vacuum-Indicating Pull Tab
A package that includes a container and a container closure having a vacuum-indicating pull tab. The container includes a longitudinal axis extending therethrough, a mouth, and a sealing surface. The container closure includes a seal membrane sealingly and removably coupled to the container sealing surface to seal the container, and a pull tab configured to extend from the seal membrane. Manipulation of the pull tab provides an indication of the presence or absence of a vacuum in the package.
Flatbread machine with an automatic flatbread preparation method based on dough capsules and a packaging system
An automated preparation of flatbread, particularly tortillas, by an apparatus for includes packing dough portions in capsules for enabling the dough to be suitable for extended refrigerated and unrefrigerated storage. The capsules are gas-tight sealed with a foil and conveyed in upside-down position on a conveyor belt. The foil is removed by two adjacent shafts which grip the foil and tear it off. The capsule is then positioned on a holding ring and the dough portion falls downwardly onto a lower pressing and baking plate. An upper pressing and baking plate swivels downwardly by an actuator for pressing and baking the dough. After lifting the upper plate away, the finished flat bread glides out of the apparatus.
