A packaging system for packaging granular food items for shipment includes a plurality of granular food item bags, each granular food item bag having a side surface. A folder has at least one crease with a first half having a first inner surface on one side of the crease and a second half having a second inner surface on an opposing side of the at least one crease. The side surface of each granular food item bag is attached to the first inner surface of the first half of the folder and the granular food item bags are arranged in and N×M array on the first inner surface of the first half of the folder. The folder is then folded along the at least one crease so the second inner surface of the second half of the folder is folded over the granular food item bags attached to the first inner surface.

An apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus includes a tray having a base connected to a plurality of sidewalls each of which extends away from the base and terminates at a rim, said tray defining a volume with an opening circumscribed by said rim, said rim comprising a press-fit sealing feature; a ring-shaped lid comprising a complimentary press-fit sealing feature configured to mate with said press-fit sealing feature; a product disposed in said volume wherein said product surface comprises at least one contour; and a flexible film, said flexible film spans said opening and adheres to the at least one contour of the product, and said flexible film is secured to said tray between said press-fit sealing feature of the rim and said complimentary press-fit sealing feature of the ring-shaped lid.

An apparatus is disclosed. Methods and apparatus for removably or irremovably interconnectable building block containers such as those capable of initially storing consumable items such as food and drink. After consumption of the food or drink, the cavity containing same may be cleaned and/or refilled with consumable or non-consumable items. The building block containers are utilized as building block toys and may be manufactured or otherwise designed to be collectable. In one aspect, the container connectors are nearly identical such that any one connector may mate with any other connector. In another aspect, the connectors are nearly identical but the orientations of each connector vary to allow mating to occur when the connectors are properly oriented. In another aspect, the container is a cube juice box with connectors on all four corners of all six sides of the container. A frame for holding a juice container may also be utilized.

The sealed flexible bag can be accessed through piercing, and the entire container can be disposed of and recycled as a plastic, compost, or paper material, being accordingly highly environment-friendly.
