Bifurcated trilobular packaging element
A bifurcated trilobular packaging element, including at least some of first sheet portion extending from a first terminal end to a second terminal end and one or more alternating ridges and grooves formed therein, wherein the first sheet portion is bent or folded between the terminating proximal end and the terminating distal end to form an apex; a second sheet portion that is a substantial mirror image of the first sheet portion; wherein at least a portion of the first sheet portion overlaps at least a portion of the second sheet portion; and wherein at least a portion of the second sheet portion overlaps at least a portion of the first sheet portion to form a deformable hollow defined within at least a portion of inner walls of the first sheet portion and the second sheet portion.
VESSEL ASSEMBLY
Disclosed herein is a protective housing for carrying a rigid vessel. In use, the vessel will contain liquid. The housing comprises a casing. The casing includes a peripheral wall, a base and a top. The base and top are connected to the peripheral wall to define a volume for containing the vessel. The protective housing further comprises an impact absorber. The impact absorber is disposed, in use, between the vessel and casing to reduce transferral, to the vessel, of a force applied to the casing. There is also an aperture in the casing for accessing a closure section of the vessel while the vessel is in the protective housing.

SHOCK ABSORBER AND PACKAGING SYSTEM
A shock absorber includes a base structure and a shock-absorbing rib structure. The base structure has a space to accommodate an object to be packaged. The shock-absorbing rib structure is disposed on a face of the base structure. The shock-absorbing rib structure includes a main buffer and an auxiliary buffer. The main buffer is supported by the base structure and has a cubic or rectangular parallelepiped shape. The auxiliary buffer is supported by the base structure at opposed ends of the auxiliary buffer and apart from the base structure between the opposed ends of the auxiliary buffer.
BUFFER MEMBER AND PACKAGE BODY
A buffer member provided includes a base portion, and pairs of first buffer portions, second buffer portions, and inclined plate portions. The base portion includes a hollow portion, a lateral base portion defining an upper part of the hollow portion, and a pair of vertical base portions defining both sides of the hollow portion. The first buffer portions are continuous to lower edges of the vertical base portions and protrude outwardly in a first direction. The vertical buffer portions are continuous to the first buffer portions. The second buffer portions include the vertical buffer portions and a pair of upper-extending portions. The upper-extending portions each extend upward from a corresponding one of the vertical buffer portions. The inclined plate portions include engaging portions that are continuous to the pair of upper extending portions, extend obliquely in a second direction, and engage with an edge portion of the lateral base portion.
