The card packaging system can be easily hung from a merchandise display. The card packaging system may include a card unit comprising a card, a hanger, and a stem, the stem being positioned between the card and the hanger, wherein the card may be separate from the hanger and the stem. The card packaging system may further comprise a case for receiving the card unit, the case including a slot for receiving the stem such that the card is positioned in the case and the hanger extends outwardly from the case.
