Packaging for microarrays
A packaging system for microarrays, such as microarrays of microneedles, comprising inner and outer pouches (500, 5000).
Packaging films
A packaging film is described comprising at least one polymer film layer in which particles of a small-pore or a medium-pore palladium-doped zeolite are dispersed. Such films are of particular utility for the adsorption of volatile organic compounds, such as those originating from organic matter.
PACKAGING WRAPPER FOR FOOD PRODUCTS
The packaging wrapper for gluten-free food products includes a multilayer sheet, including in turn one layer of polymeric material having at least one aperture and a layer of porous filter material coupled to the layer of polymeric material and positioned so as to cover the aperture.
Stable solid particulate system for controlling humidity to a selected range
A stable, solid, externally dry particulate system for controlling humidity to a selected range comprising a hydrophobic silica component and a hydrophilic silica component where the hydrophobic component comprises about 4 to 10 wt. % hydrophobic nano silica particles and from about 96 to 90 wt. % of a mixture of a saturated solution of at least one soluble solid and undissolved at least one soluble solid, and the hydrophilic micro silica component comprises from about 20 to 40 wt. % hydrophilic silica particles and about 80 to 60 wt.% of the mixture of the saturated solution of at least one soluble solid and the undissolved at least one soluble solid. The saturated solution is made of at least one soluble solid dissolved into a polar liquid and has an equilibrium relative humidity when a saturated solution in the polar liquid.
Anaerobic Blood Storage Containers
A blood storage container for the anaerobic storage of blood, having enhanced sealing methods and materials for the preservation of stored blood is provided.
VIAL WITH NON-ROUND SEAL
A moisture-tight, re-sealable container is disclosed having a lid and body. The lid and body have a non-round seal that is substantially moisture tight when the lid is seated on the body, admitting less than 1000 micrograms per day of water to a package. A reinforcement stiffens or reinforces at least a portion of the seal against inward deflection along an axis defined by the minor diameter when the lid is seated on the body. Optionally the reinforcement is at least one spline subdividing the reservoir. A method of making dispensers for objects of varying length to customize particular dispensers to dispense such objects of a particular length is also disclosed.
A SEALED OXYGEN-TIGHT COOKING DEVICE FOR FOOD
A sealed oxygen-tight cooking device for food comprising a first layer (6) with means for preventing inflation by warm moist air during cooking, a second layer impervious to grease and liquid from the food, a fat-absorbing support layer (1) between the first layer and the second layer, wherein the fat-absorbing support layer (1) has openings (3) there through, said fat-absorbing support layer is adapted to support a food thereon, and the food (5) placed on the fat-absorbing support layer (1), wherein the first layer, the second layer and the fat-absorbing support layer are made from materials suitable for use in an oven.
Systems and methods for de-oxygenation of a closed container
Systems and methods for preserving oxidizable substances such as liquids or foodstuffs are disclosed. These systems incorporate a sealing device and an oxygen scavenging chemical or agent coupleable to the system. The oxygen scavenging agent can remove the oxygen from the headspace of a container such as a bottle of wine without reducing the pressure in the headspace to the extent that the flavor of the wine is adversely affected.
Container including drainage features and handle
A container is presented herein that includes a plurality of sidewalls defining an upper rim, and a base. At least one handle is defined integrally with at least one horizontal reinforcement rib. A skirt extends along the sidewalls above the base. Drainage openings are defined below the skirt and at an intersectional area defined between the base and at least one of the sidewalls.
A WET COLD CHAIN DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND APPARATUS THEREFOR
The present invention relates to the field of the transportation and storage of goods and to temperature control systems for such, commonly referred to as cold chain systems or distribution. More specifically, the present invention relates to a system, apparatus and a method for a wet cold chain distribution system. There is a growing concern with the over-use of plastics in the packaging industry and the present invention seeks to provide a wet distribution box having being formed from a cardboard blank. The present invention seeks to provide a solution to the problems addressed above. The present invention also seeks to provide a temperature controlled transport/storage assembly that can be made from cardboard and recycled materials and be further re-used or recycled in due course.
