Cooler Enclosure
An enclosure includes a shell including a movable cover, a cavity defined by a plurality of walls extending from a base, and a closure that removably attaches the movable cover to one or more walls of the plurality of walls. The enclosure further includes a pocket assembly that includes a pocket having a folding region disposed at least partially between opposing side edges and a backing panel. The folding region has a closure mechanism for retaining the pocket against itself in a collapsed configuration. Further, the backing panel is coupled to the shell and the pocket is configured to receive a beverage container when placed in the open configuration.
A PROCESS FOR FORMING A CONTAINER
A process for forming a container from a blank, the process comprising the steps of: thermally inducing one or more fold lines on at least one surface of a container blank fabricated from a thermal insulation sheet material, wherein the blank comprises: a first panel portion; a second panel portion located adjacent the first panel portion and sharing a first common edge therewith; and a third panel portion located adjacent the second panel portion and sharing a second common edge therewith, the second common edge being substantially parallel to the first common edge, wherein the first panel portion and the third panel portion are each associated with a pair of flap members adapted for folding movement relative to the respective first and third panel portions such that, when assembled, each of the flap members overlies an edge of the second panel portion substantially perpendicular to the first common edge and the second common edge, folding the first panel portion of the container blank along a first fold line, wherein when folded, the first panel portion is substantially perpendicular to the second panel portion of the container blank; folding the third panel portion of the container blank along a second fold line, wherein when folded, the third panel portion is substantially perpendicular to the second panel portion and substantially parallel to the first panel portion; sealing a portion of each of the pair of flap members of the first panel portion to a portion of each of the pair of flap members of the third panel portion to form a side seam joint; and sealing a portion of the first panel portion adjacent the side seam joint and a portion of the third panel portion adjacent the side seam joint to an edge of the second panel portion to form a bottom seam joint.
THERMOPLASTIC PACKAGING INSULATION PRODUCTS AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING SAME
Packaging insulation for insertion into a packaging container, which includes an air laid thermoplastic fibrous batt having foldable thermoplastic film material adhered to both sides of the batt. Preferably the thermoplastic material of which the fibers and film are made is the same, and most preferably it is PET. The resulting method and product provides packaging insulation which can be shipped flat and compressed, which expands when unpacked and which can be readily folded to match the interior configuration of a shipping container, such as a cardboard box.
Linked antenna pair for transmission through shielded shipping container
The present disclosure provides a linked antenna pair for a shipping container having a thermally insulated and electromagnetically shielded cavity for holding a payload. The linked antenna pair comprises a first antenna disposed inside the cavity, a second antenna disposed outside the cavity, and a feed line that electrically connects the first antenna to the second antenna.
Insulated box
A box blank assembly includes a box blank, the box blank includes a bottom panel; a first side panel attached to the bottom panel by a first length fold line; a second side panel attached to the bottom panel by a second length fold line; and a third side panel attached to the bottom panel by a first width fold line; and an insulation batt attached to at least one of the first side panel, the second side panel, and the third side panel.
SHIPPING CONTAINER WITH COMPOSTABLE INSULATION
A thermal insulation article for placement in a shipping container to hold an item includes a multi-section thermally insulating pad shaped to be positioned in a cavity of a rectangular prism shipping container. The pad includes a plurality of solid compostable panel sections formed primarily of grain starch, and a water-proof polyethylene film forming a pocket enclosing the plurality of panel sections. Each panel section holds together as a single unit, and each panel section provides a rectangular plate dimensioned to substantially span whichever of the floor, plurality of side walls or cover that the rectangular plate is adjacent. The pad is configured to be foldable at a right angle along a boundary between the panel sections. The film provides both an interior and an exterior surface of the pad where the pad is folded.
Blank for container
A blank made of a polymeric material is provided and used to form at least a portion of a container. The blank is folded to establish a base and a side wall included in the container.
Recyclable insert for shipping container
A thermal insulation article for placement in a shipping container to hold an item includes a thermally insulating pad shaped to be positioned in a cavity of a rectangular prism shipping container to be adjacent to and cover one or more of a floor, four side walls and cover of the container while leaving an interior space to receive the item. The thermally insulating pad includes a compostable panel that holds together as a single unit and is formed primarily of starch, the panel providing a rectangular plate dimensioned to substantially span whichever of the floor, plurality of side walls or cover that the rectangular plate is adjacent, and a compostable or recyclable water-proof polymer film forming a pocket and surrounding the panel with the panel slidable within the pocket.
Insulation Packaging for Thermal Insulation and/or Shock Absorption Made from Straw and/or Hay
An insulation core made of at least one of pressed straw or hay, wherein the insulation core is geometrically defined and stable in shape, the shape retention of the insulation core given by the stochastic distribution and form of stalks of the at least one of pressed straw or hay, and fibers of stalks of the at least one of pressed straw or hay remain undissolved within the natural structure of the stalks; and a covering that covers the insulation core on all sides and is predominantly connected by form-locking to the insulation core, and that the density of the insulation packaging is between 40 kg\m.sup.3 and 250 kg\m.sup.3.
Box defining walls with insulation cavities
A method of assembling a box from a blank including obtaining a blank including a plurality of outer side panels, the outer side panels connected to each other by a plurality of fold lines, a plurality of outer bottom panels each joined to each of the outer side panels by a fold line, a plurality of connecting strips each joined to each of the outer side panels by a fold line, a plurality of inner side panels each joined to each of the connecting strips by a fold line, and a plurality of inner bottom panels each joined to each of the inner side panels by a fold line; and joining the outer side panels at opposite ends such that the outer side panels form a ring.
