A method of assembling an insulated container can include folding a body portion of an insulated blank including folding a first panel of the body portion relative to a second panel of the body portion, the first panel defining a first end of the insulated blank; folding the second panel relative to a third panel of the body portion; folding the third panel relative to a fourth panel of the body portion, the fourth panel defining a second end of the insulated blank; attaching the first end of the insulated blank to the second end of the insulated blank to at least partially enclose an insulated cavity; folding a first bottom flap of the insulated blank relative to the first panel to further enclose the insulated cavity; and folding a second bottom flap of the insulated blank relative to the second panel to further enclose the insulated cavity.

FOUR-LAYERED MATERIAL FOR A FLEXIBLE FLUID RESERVOIR
20230131001 · 2023-04-27 ·

Disclosed are flexible fluid reservoirs including a front sheet and a back sheet, each comprising a four-layer insulated wall. The four-layer insulated wall includes an interior layer and an exterior layer, and a metallic film layer and an insulation layer disposed between the interior layer and the exterior layer where the metallic film layer is oriented toward the exterior layer and the insulation layer is oriented toward the interior layer. One or more of the interior or exterior layers can be a metallocene modified polyethylene film. The metallic film layer can be aluminum coated polyethylene terephthalate resin. The insulation layer can be a foam layer comprising closed cell polyethylene resin. The four-layer insulated wall can resist or limit temperature changes of a fluid disposed within the reservoir for a period of time. The insulated fluid reservoirs can include closure mechanisms for sealing an upper opening of the reservoir.

Insulating Device

An insulating device can include a body assembly and a lid assembly where an insulating layer is connected to both the body assembly and the lid assembly. An aperture with a closure is formed between the body assembly and lid assembly to form a storage compartment. An insulating tab may be formed from a portion of the insulating layer and an inner liner of the body assembly to help insulate the closure region. In addition, a first magnetic element may be secured within the insulating tab that may engage a second magnetic element secured within the lid assembly.

Insulating device backpack

An insulating device backpack may include an outer shell, a first sidewall defining a front portion of the insulating device backpack, and a second sidewall and a third sidewall defining side portions of the insulating device backpack, and a fourth sidewall defining a back portion of the insulating device backpack, an inner liner forming a storage compartment, an insulating layer positioned in between the outer shell and the inner liner, the insulating layer providing insulation for the storage compartment, and an opening configured to allow access to the storage compartment, and a closure adapted to seal the opening.

Insulating container

An insulating device can include an aperture having a waterproof closure which allows access to the chamber within the insulating device. The closure can help prevent any fluid leakage into and out of the insulating device if the insulating device is overturned or in any configuration other than upright. The closure also prevents any fluid from permeating into the chamber if the insulating device is exposed to precipitation, other fluid, or submersed under water. This construction results in an insulating chamber impervious to water and other liquids when the closure is sealed.

ON-DEMAND THERMOREGULATION ELEMENT OR SYSTEM FOR STORAGE AND TRANSPORT OF TEMPERATURE SENSITIVE MATERIALS

A container may include a storage volume configured to store a payload. A thermal insulation layer may surround the storage volume. A thermoregulation layer may surround the thermal insulation layer. There may be activation of a chemical reaction in the thermoregulation layer. The thermal insulation layer may have R-value per inch configured to expose the payload to a desired temperature to ensure viability of the payload and dampen a temperature spike of the chemical reaction. A system of containers may include a system storage volume with N containers in the system storage volume, wherein N is a whole number of 2 or more. A method of making an insulated container may include preparing an outer skin barrier layer, stacking a thermoregulation layer on the outer skin barrier layer, stacking a thermal insulation layer on the thermoregulation layer, and stacking an inner skin barrier layer on the thermal insulation layer.
