A method for dispensing active ingredient-containing or active ingredient carrying strips using such a device is also disclosed. An active ingredient-containing or active ingredient-carrying band is arranged between the driven roller and the pressure roller. A shift clutch transmission having a manually actuatable trigger element is arranged upstream of the gear transmission. The driven roller can be driven in incremental strips by the shift clutch transmission. A device and method is disclosed for dispensing active ingredient-containing or active ingredient-carrying strips with a largely equal dosage are developed.

A rope dispensing system for dispensing a continuous rope from a compressed rope cartridge. The device has a canister for storage of the rope cartridge, a resealable lid with a grommet for passing the rope through the lid, and a replaceable cutting mechanism for cutting the rope. Preferably the rope cartridge is shrink-wrapped to fit within case and keep rope from unraveling.

There is provided an apparatus for monitoring compliance, facilitating automatic dispensing and childproofing strip packaged medication. In one embodiment a dispenser advances a packet, controls advancement of the packet and detects the presence and absence of the packet, including electronic circuitry for recording events. A replicate for strip package medication can have packets with an open conductive trace, each packet being rupturable at a location to interrupt conductivity of the conductive trace. When the conductive trace of one of the packets completes an external circuit, the circuit is interrupted when the packet is ruptured. In another aspect, each packet has a tuned antenna that is tuned to an external transceiver which detects the detuning of each antenna. In a method of making a replicate for strip package medication, conductive ink is printed on a surface of each packet of the replicate and longitudinal edges of the replicate are reinforced.

A decorative wrapping film for wrapping and concealing a gift is elastic, cohesive and opaque and printed upon. Decorative features such as colors, patterns, decals, text and images are presented on a decorative side of the film. The surface of a non-decorative side has cohesive properties, i.e. tending to attach, cling or adhere to at least the decorative side of the wrapping film. The wrapping film may be wound into a roll and mounted on a hand-held dispenser or set into a box dispenser. The cohesive properties mitigate the need for adhesive tapes when wrapping gifts. The elastic properties facilitate wrapping of edges, corners and irregularly shaped objects. Further, the direction in which the wrapping film is formed to the item may be changed by stretching and bending the wrapping film.

The material roll comprises a package body part and a lid part, wherein the package further comprises positioning openings at both end sides of the package for positioning the material roll inside the package. Positioning openings are arranged to be formed when lid part of the package is closed. A system, method, and device for foiling hair while using a technique similar to balayage. The system uses hair foils with at least one jagged edge, essentially functioning as a stencil for the balayage design technique. As such, the foil may not leave a straight demarcation when color is brushed off the ends of the foil onto the hair underneath from the previous foil layer, allowing the hair artist to employ a foiling process that is a combination of a paneled layering technique and a balayage technique.
