Locking dispenser for a canister

A dispenser system for a canister. The system includes an actuator and a cover that can prevent inadvertent actuation. The actuator may include a button, a stem connector and an actuator housing. The stem connector may include wings with a protrusion to create a snap-fit with the actuator housing, thereby holding the stem connector in place during operation of the dispenser system.

AEROSOL DEVICE FOR DRY SHAMPOOING AND TREATING THE HAIR

The invention relates to an aerosol device comprising:—a container containing:—one or more propellants, and—a composition comprising one or more sebum-absorbing powders with a sebum up-take of greater than or equal to 35 ml/100 g, it being possible for the propellant(s) to be present in the composition or, in the container, separate from the composition,—a means for dispensing said composition comprising:—a body (3) that is open at its two opposite axial ends,—an engaging part (10) that is open at its two opposite axial ends, at least partially defining a dispensing orifice (12).

Aerosol spout dispenser

An aerosol spout dispenser is disclosed for dispensing an aerosol product from an aerosol container through an aerosol valve. The aerosol spout dispenser comprises a base secured to the aerosol container with a dispensing head mounted to the base. A dispensing spout extends outwardly from the dispensing head beyond the mounting cup of the aerosol container. A depression of the dispensing head actuates the aerosol valve to dispense the aerosol product from a terminal orifice. A dispensing head retainer cooperates with a base retainer for inhibiting separation of the dispensing head from the base when a separating force is applied between the dispensing head and the base. An auxiliary latching mechanism inhibits separation of the dispensing head from the base when a separating force is applied between the dispensing spout and the base.

Spray can actuator

An actuator for a spray can. The actuator includes a housing for attachment to an aerosol can covering a stem valve. A finger operating button structure is engaged with the housing for engaging the stem valve. A rotary two-way diverter valve is supported within the housing and rotatably engaged with the finger operating button structure. In a spray position/straw down, the two-way diverter valve directs spray through a first direct spray nozzle. In a second straw position/straw up, to make use of an adjustable straw, the diverter valve is rotated to engage a straw spray passage of the diverter valve in fluid communication with an adjustable rotary spray tip and engaged straw. By rotating the adjustable rotary spray tip to an aligned position, the tip substantially blocks the straw spray passage to provide a drip mode, where drops of fluid exit the straw. A flexible tip may optionally be provided on the straw to enable bending and retention of the flexible tip to a desired position.

DISPENSING SYSTEMS

A dispensing system includes a composition that includes one or more of a deodorizing composition, a fragrancing composition, or a cleaning composition. The system includes a container having a body. The composition is disposed within the container, and a pressure within the container is at least 930 kPa. The system further includes an actuator assembly coupled with the container. The actuator assembly includes a housing, an actuator positioned within the housing and comprising a fluid passageway in fluid communication with the composition, and a nozzle insert disposed within the fluid passageway. The nozzle insert defines a nozzle orifice having an orifice diameter of between about 0.335 mm and about 0.385 mm, and the composition comprises a compressed gas and between about 5% and about 10% by volume ethanol.

COMPACT ATOMIZER

The present invention comprises a compact atomizer that substantially encapsulates a standard inhalant canister and allows for in-line dispensing through a mouthpiece formed in an actuating cover. The compact atomizer comprises an actuating cover and housing that cooperate to secure the canister. By compressing the actuating cover and housing together, a nozzle of the canister is depressed to release a portion of substance within the canister. Compression is enabled by an actuation surface formed in the actuating cover. Substance is released in-line with the canister through a mouthpiece at the end of the actuating cover. The result is a small, compact, yet attractive atomizer that can be carried in a pocket or the like while keeping the canister free of debris.

An aerosol dispensing system having an aerosol actuator with a skirt and a skirt angle of between 50 and 70 degrees fitted on an aerosol can having a can slope angle within about 3 or 5 or 7 or 10 degrees of the skirt angle.

AEROSOL FOAM DISPENSER

An aerosol foam dispenser for dispensing a foam antiperspirant or deodorant composition. The foam dispenser can have a pressurized container adapted for one or more propellants and a liquid deodorant or antiperspirant composition; a valve assembly, which can be a metered valve assembly, having a valve stem; an actuating mechanism in operative communication with the valve assembly, a dome with a skin contacting surface and one or more exit orifices in fluid communication with the valve stem; and a dip tube.

The actuator for an aerosol dispenser is provided with an actuator body which has a skirt, a finger pad, an outlet conduit having a portion (132a) which protrudes from the skirt towards the outside, and a cap (20) that can be moved between an open position in which the finger pad is accessible to a user and a closed position in which the finger pad is inaccessible to a user. The cap (20) is fixed to the skirt by a hinge (21) so that it can pivot around the hinge between the open position and the closed position, and provided with a slot (24) which straddles the protruding portion (132a) of the outlet conduit when the cap is in the closed position or close to the closed position.

Dispensing system

The present invention relates to a dispensing system for spraying a liquid/gas mixture, the system comprising a dispenser and a holder in which the dispenser is held, the dispenser comprising a container that is adapted for holding therein a liquid phase and a gas phase that is at a pressure of 2 bar or greater and is in direct contact with the liquid phase. The dispensing system may be used in a first orientation and a second orientation, wherein the ratio of liquid to gas in the sprayed mixture is different depending on the orientation of the system during spraying.
