The invention can be used in household, outdoors, in the garden plots, in health care institutions, for example, for patients with dysphagia, as the source of purified drinking water or nutrient liquids, which go to a patient easily. Liquid supply device, includes raw liquid vessel, pressure generating means, liquid treating unit, comprising a lid, liquid supply means, liquid treating element and raw liquid inlet element, characterized in that is configured to supply treated liquid in portions from 5 to 100 ml, with velocity 0.5 to 10 ml/sec.
PORTABLE DEVICE FOR ADMINISTERING A PHYSIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE LIQUID
Embodiments herein describe a portable device for administering a physiologically active liquid that includes a container for holding the liquid, pressurizing means for applying pressure to the liquid, an atomizer for atomizing the liquid, and an applicator for administering atomized liquid. The atomizer includes at least one nozzle through which liquid can be ejected from the container and an impact element on the nozzle outlet side that is functionally combined with the nozzle. Moreover, the atomizer is configured in such a way that, in a pressure range that can be generated with the pressurizing means, liquid emerging from the nozzle breaks up into droplets prior to striking the impact element.
FLOW MODULATION DEVICE FOR DISPENSING PRESSURIZED FLUIDS
A flow modulation device 300 for controlling a rheological state of a dispensed pressurized fluid includes a porous element 304 and an exit tube. The porous element 304 is in fluid communication with a distal end of an outlet tube 303 and receives pressurized fluid in a first rheological state. The porous element 304 includes a plurality of channels that divide a flow channel into a plurality of flow paths through which the pressurized fluid flows and that modulates the flow of the pressurized fluid. The exit tube 305 includes proximal end 355 and distal end 345 and an intermediate body including a sidewall 365 defining a hollow internal lumen 375. The exit tube 305 is in fluid communication with the porous element 304 and receives the modulated pressurized fluid from the plurality of flow paths and refocuses the fluid to dispense the pressurized fluid in a second rheological state.

Liquid supply device, comprising raw liquid vessel, pressure generating means, liquid treating unit, comprising a lid, liquid supply means, liquid treating element and raw liquid inlet element, characterized in that is configured to supply treated liquid in portions from 1 to 600 ml, preferably from 5 to 100 ml, with velocity from 0.1 to 200 ml/seconds, preferable from 0.5 to 10 ml/sec.
Adapter and dispenser with adapter
An adapter for a dispenser includes a longitudinal body with a first end that may be configured for connection with a dip tube and a second end that may be configured for connection with another object, such as a foam component. In embodiments, a cross piece is disposed between the first end and the second end. Further, in embodiments, one or more structures, such as barbs, may be provided between a cross piece and the second end.
NOZZLE UNIT, LIQUID DISPENSER COMPRISING SUCH A NOZZLE UNIT, AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING SUCH NOZZLE UNITS
Two sub-methods are used together to produce a nozzle unit for a liquid dispenser. The methods include adding a nozzle plate into a nozzle channel of a nozzle unit using an assembly tool which elastically expands the nozzle channel. The assembly tool is inserted in the nozzle channel and expands same, thus moving the nozzle plate into its final position where it remains after the assembly tool is removed. The methods also include attaching a filter to a nozzle unit carrier. In a preparation step, a flat filter material is positioned on the end face of the carrier. Only after the filter material is positioned and a connection of the filter material to the end face is established, a separation process is carried out by which the filter material is cut to surround the end face. The filter material positioned on the end face and cut in situ remains.

Water filter purge indication
A refrigeration system includes a water circulation system and a replaceable water filter. The refrigerator includes a sensor that determines if a water filter is present, and a user interface that prompts a user to purge a water filter upon installation of a new water filter in the refrigerator. The water filter may include a memory storage device that stores information concerning the allowable life of the water filter, the remaining life of the water filter, and other information. Information concerning the remaining life of the water filter and other information can be displayed or otherwise communicated to a user by the user interface.
Inhalation device, inhalation device set, and nozzle plate therefor
An inhalation device including a housing, which encloses a liquid reservoir in which the liquid is stored before discharge, and an applicator head with a nebulization chamber and an applicator piece connected thereto, wherein the applicator piece is designed either as a mouthpiece, to be received in the mouth of a patient, or as an inhalation mask, to sealingly cover the mouth, the nose, or the mouth and the nose. The inhalation device furthermore has a discharge channel which connects the liquid reservoir to the applicator head. The inhalation device includes at the end of the discharge channel a nozzle plate with a large number of nozzle openings which serve to generate an inhalation mist and through which the liquid from the liquid reservoir is conveyed into the nebulization chamber.
Delivery system for metered dose inhalers
An accessory device for delivering medications from press and breath metered-dose inhalers (pMDIs), including those medications containing hydrofluoroalkane propellants. The device includes a collapsible flexible bag to which is attached a bidirectional mouthpiece and an adaptor that receives the press and breath MDI. The mouthpiece contains a reed that functions as an audible signal, and a screen to prevent inhalation of unwanted particles. The adaptor positions the press and breath MDI at an angle to direct the aerosol spray toward the center of the collapsible flexible bag. When the press and breath MDI is triggered, it discharges the aerosolized medication into the center of the collapsible flexible bag which is then inhaled by the user through the mouthpiece. This collapses the bag. The reed emits an audible sound if the user inhales above a pre-determined flow rate to maximize medication delivery and ensure dose-to-dose consistency.
